More Reductions at Saks

Come and get it...
I imagine that this is the last ha-ra at Saks. From Thursday, July 10th to Sunday, July 13th you can take an additional 50% off select sale merchandise. I expect the selection to be limited but the discount is deep. I did a quick scan of the website and there are still a few worth while items.

Take this $495 See By Chloe dress. With the additional markdown it will be under $100.

These Jimmy Choo gold snake skin sandals might not be for everyone but regardless they are pretty hot. They started out at $920 but with an extra 50% off should be about $275. Not cheap, but again they are really hot.

Have you ever shopped the Saks Finale Sale? It's usually not 50% off the second markdown price, but the first one. I doubt the dress will be that cheap, but given this year's economic woes, perhaps...When they used to do Act 1, Act 2 and Finale, the Finale was off the Act 1 price, not the Act 2. So that See by Chloe dress would only be reduced an extra 10-15% off the 198, not 50%.

This sale is BOGUS...... The so called "SALE" that takes place starting today 7/10, is "ONLY" on "SELECT" items, oh, now they tell us!!!

I wrote down 20 items, to see if they would make the additional cut, and NONE went additional. Like i said "bogus" sale, pure publicity......

Those Jimmy Choo gold snake skin sandals, did not make the additional mark down at this so called last ha-ra sale.

The shoes are still at $552. This sale was very dissappointing to say the very least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shame on you saks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To the contrary, the sale WAS 50% off the second markdown, and it most certainly was going on at the 5th avenue flagship. I got 2 pairs of Louboutins for under $300 each (one pair of gold flats, one pair of lace pigalle stilettos), and a pair of Miu Miu pumps for under $200. It was the best sale I have seen in a long time.
