Rumors are that Scoop is being plagued with severe financial -- a.k.a. bankruptcy--troubles. Say it ain't so. I guess that's what happens when you are too slow to markdown in a difficult economic season.
Speaking of the difficult economy, my Facebook friend and fellow blogger, Andrew James of What is James Wearing?, is asking everyone to figuratively burn a bit of money in honor of the Chinese New Year and his very own stimulus package.
I say, in difficult times-- cash is king. If you've got it hold on to it. You never know when a great opportunity might present itself!

uh, you're kidding, right?! because a store is on sale and sent an email they are going bankrupt?!! gee, let's see, then almost every store in the city must be going under...look out!!! who writes this crap?!
Probably someone from intermix!
I hate to say it but it was actually the employees talking!
i think she overexpanded and didnt get her own house in order. i heard they have ZERO internal infrastructure. plus lets be honest..she is too focused on QVC
I was at Scoop in the meat packing district today and there was not a ton left on sale or a big selection of sizes. People were looking but not buying.
I've always found Scoop boring. The store of clones.
