You don't know me but I'm one happy TJ's customer-have been for years. I subscribe to numerous fashion blogs, but Madison Avenue Spy is one of my favorites. I would qualify the original statement statement only slightly.
I've always known that TJ's was about more than discount Apple accessories and children's books; I have a closet full of formerly purple tagged merchandise in my closet to corroborate her remarks. Also numerous high end watches I've bought for a song. And let me add my drawers full of yoga clothes and the set of Calphalon pots and pans!
The people who work at the 6th Ave and 18th St store are terrific, and they keep the place stocked with enough great merchandise to keep me coming back, again and again. Discount stores aren't ever this good. I almost never need to go to the Department store, which means TJ's and you are doing a terrific job!
I’m a fashion/business journalist turned blogger. New York Magazine, ABC News, Smart Money and The Wall Street Journal are just a few stops that have prepared me for this particular endeavor. I’m writing on my time about what I know best: Shopping. No sale is too private. No brand too aspirational. I’m breaking it down and dishing the best deals—and we’re not talking just sample sales. This is the real deal gurl!
Krizia shoes for $50. Check. Prada 90% off. Check. Louboutin friends and family. Check.
You get the picture.
The Madison Avenue BID is a sponsor of Madison Avenue Spy. Please feel free to
write me with any good finds of your own or just to let me know how you're enjoying the site.
