Schutz, the Brazilian footwear emporium opened their first state-side store just this past Fall and is already creating quite a reputation for offering customers high fashion shoes at fast fashion prices. The boutique, which is across from Barneys and next door to Brian Atwood store, is stocked with fashion forward shoe styles that are all priced very attractively. We like to describe the store as a footwear-only version of Zara.
Most shoes are spiked and studded and are normally priced between $125 and $300 but it's discount season and Schutz shoes are on sale. Right now most items are 50% off. While shoe shopping today we found color blocked suede pumps that resembled Celine for $100 from $200, platform sandals that resemble something of YSL are $110 and studded ballet flats are $90.
We love that this shoe store is expanding the current trend of fancy-shoe/budget-clothing into a quality-clothing/budget-shoe option. The boutique also offers a selection of handbags and leather jackets but it's the shoes that draw the crowds.
