Is there a way to shop the sale if you don't live in NYC?

I'm sorry but it's an onsite sample sale. I'll be sure to post links when Insee a good Valentino deal.

Darn! I skipped it for the Botkier sale because what was left the other day sounded picked over in the comments to the first post. Did they have a purse/bag check, or can you bring in a small purse without having to remove wallet/phone?

Did they get any more red Valentino clothing in bigger sizes?

I went yesterday afternoon and there was pretty much nothing left. No good sizes and models. Especially nothing rock stud :( Prices are 70% off the ticket prices: shoes range around $340s -- if you calculate 70% off of a $1000+ price tag. Really wanted to score a nice pair of rock studs but there wasn't anything :(

There were some nice bags but most of them with damage and stains. Look for the bags they have behind the cashier, I think those are the only ones in good shape. Bags prices were around $2500 or $1500 (stained) and then 70% off of that

Just got back. This sale was a real miss for me. The atmosphere was hectic with a ton of haggling and a bit of pressure going on. Very different from my usual sales. That wasn't necessarily the bad part. The selection was just pretty poor. The shoes were a bit boring and I thought the bags were too expensive for their condition. A couple of gems, but I walked out with nothing. Hopefully others had a more successful experience.

This sale was posted last year, it is a bunch of junk and if its Valentino, its Valentino from 6 years ago. . The retail price is so elevated that 70% off is ridiculous. They had old ratty sandals that they claim a retail prices which is higher than retail of the block heal rockstuds at Neimans. Im calling bullshit. Madison Avenue Spy you should not be doing sponsored sales of this sort. I trekked all the way there not realizing it was the same dump as last year. Don't waste your time people.

Hi Beth,
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. I assure you, this is the first time we worked with this company. I am sorry that you did not find anything you liked at the sale. I think it was a lot of hit and miss. Some readers wrote in about scoring really big. It was a warehouse sale, which essentially means it's older merchandise. Again, I'm sorry you didn't find anything you liked. I always think how much money I saved myself in those situations. It's usually a relief.
