Good discount but not a lot of selection. Lots of ppl. I waited for 2 hrs since 12:45. They hv more pendants than full strang of pearls for 8mm and above.
They said they dont hve much strang of pearls in stock to restock it. Let see.
One thing i m curious is retialer often "mark up" the retial price for sales like this. Do you think the sale on the tag is not the same if you buy the exact piece in the store?
Thanks #1!!!!
Do you recall whatthe discount is?
I went there today and i am now a little disapointed. Bought a couple of things. I got a stud with pearl earring and I gave it to my friend to check. the diamond quality is G-H I1 which is TWO grades lower than the "Mikimoto standard".
The Mikimoto Standard, as they posted on their web, is G color abover and VS!!!
I believe even they have 70% off on items. They still make a sweet profit!
I got there at 1:50 PM and waited about 1 hr and 15 min to get in. The selection was not as big as I expected, but it was my first time there so I didn't have much to compare with.
There are items that are 50%, 60%, 70% and 80%. All of the Milano pieces, which is the higher end pieces, were 70% off. A 12m Tahitian pearl ring with intricate diamond design was $3750. A 9m Tahitian pearl ring surrounded by diamonds in their Blue Lagoon line was a little under $600 at 60% off.
