Ippolita Sale Continues

Following the aftermath of hurricane Sandy, the Ippolita sale is picking up right where it left off but with additional discounts. Starting today all of the brand's fine, silver and fashion jewelry is now 70% off the original retail price.

Expect to find the brand's gem bangles priced at about $600 each from a retail price of $2000. That means that you can get a full 3-stack for the normal price of just one. Silver hoop earrings with topaz are normally $1400 reduced to about $420. A gold pendant with onyx is normally $2000 reduced to $600.

The sale only continues through November 1 but considering the environment we wouldn't consider too many people packing this sale (or any sample sale). Keep your fingers crossed and there could be another markdown for the final day of the sale.

Ippolita Sample Sale
Wednesday, October 31 through Tuesday, November 1
Wed & Thurs 10am to 6pm

Cyber Storm Shopping

Truth is that there is only so much you can stare out the widow watching the wind and rain. The next logical entertainment outlet is surfing the web. In order to provide a bit of entertainment we scouted the web for some of the best online sales or deals and here is what we found:

Target: Kirna Zibete
The almost-chic box store launched their collaboration with Soho chic boutique Kirna Zibete on September 9. The merchandise is now marked down anywhere from 30% to 50% off. We highly endorse this huge lip ring for $10.50 from $15 and the lips envelope clutch for $21 from $30. The clothing is a bit more hit or miss. The style is great but that cheap polyester makes our skin crawl.
Net-a-Porte's discount site, TheOutnet can be better than a trip to Woodbury Common. The site is filled with unbelievable past season designer merchandise. Doesn't everyone need a pair of combat heels? Well Acne thinks so and for 65% off these will do the trick ($270from $770. This simple print Marni dress is stylish, simple, yet affordable at $370 from $745. Then of course, you're going to need to snag these Miu Miu glitter high-tops for $198 from $500. You can also go the other way and grab these Reed Krakoff shark leather sandals for $255 from $850 or suede jacket for $750 from $2500.
Although Yoox carries almost every brand imaginable you have to be careful that you're not paying more than you should. On some occasions we have found products on the site more expensive than retail. Today we browsed closely and found this black-and-white Lanvin print dress for $2000 from $2500 or Proenza Schouler jacket spice up simple jeans ($660 from $825). Our favorite feature of Yoox is that you can place an item in your "dream box" and the site will alert you when the product is discounted. We've snagged some amazing deals this way.
Sometimes you can't dismiss the obvious. Overstock has tucked away some very interesting designer surprises. To sort through the huge assortment of merchandise on the site we usually use the sort feature to pull up the most expensive items. (Really, are you surprised?!) Today, we found a blue Chloe Sally bag for $1350. The medium sized bag is $1900 at Saks. Then a Stella McCartney bag from last season is $1200.

It-it: Balenciaga Moto Jacket

It's no news that this season's hottest item is a motorcycle jacket. Unlike most fashion items, a good moto jacket never goes out of style. Lets rephrase that, motorcycle jackets do go in and out of style but a good one looks good in any decade.

If you don't have a great motorcycle jacket from the early 2000s or a vintage one from your aunt or mother, then you're going to want to pick the perfect version that will look great on you and the next generation of it-girls. We recently scoured all the department stores and local boutiques in order to find the perfect leather biker jacket. We tried $8000 Alaia jackets that felt as soft as melting lipstick and a $6000 McQueen version that had the perfect combination of edge and high fashion. There are also the less expensive motos made of imitation leather but we are looking for the jacket of a lifetime.

There is no doubt that our absolute favorite is the Balenciaga Moto ($2650). The sleeves are perfect. The fit is amazing. The leather is high quality but still has a twist of rugged. The best part is that that they come in a rainbow of colors. This season the designer focused on a mustard version and a heather grey, in addition to basic black. If you search pre-owned versions, which seem to run between $800 and $2200 on eBay, you will find a dazzling variety that includes cobalt blue and ultra violet.

If the Balenciaga jacket isn't quite your style, our close runner up is a Sandro version in basic black ($825). Sandro has a store right here on Madison and a boutique within Bloomingdales that is currently stocked with a great cramberry color.

You truly can't go wrong with either of these jackets and we are sure that your children or nieces will thank you in decades to come.

Manolo & Louboutin Sample Sales

When election day comes around in about two weeks keen shoppers are going to have to choose a lot more than who they want to run this nation. Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin are hosting overlapping sample sales and some people will have to choose.

A Manolo Blahnik spokesperson confirms that their bi-annual Worwick hotel sample sale will begin Tuesday, November 6th and run through, Wednesday, November 7th. We are told that the entire first day will be invitation only and then the sale will open to the public for the full day on Wednesday. Invitations have not yet been mailed but you will be alerted if you are a day one shopper very soon. Andre Leon Tally has yet not confirmed that he will be there but we're keeping our fingers crossed.

The Christian Louboutin showroom will be hosting their bi-annual sale starting on Monday, November 5th and extending through the weekend. Getting access to this sale is much more difficult since the sale is held in the designer's showroom. The first few days are usually reserved for red-carpet stars while the final days are open to invited guests, which normally include press, vendors and employee friends.

So what can you expect from either sale? At the past Manolo sale, the bulk of the inventory was size 7 and slimmest selection was size 8 through 9.5. Basic shoes started at $100 and prices went up to $500 for high exotic boots. You can read all the details from the sale last season, here.

Over at Christian Louboutin, during the press days the shoe selection is best for ladies size 36.5 and below and 40 and up. (We are sure starlets of all sizes score big at the beginning of the sale.) Prices for this sale start at $100 although we don't usually have luck finding shoes in that price point. Last season, even some of the wedges were $225 and most of the desirable styles were $350 and above. Boots were $500 and up, while the exotic skin styles are priced upon request. You can see past coverage here.

So where will your wallet do it's voting during the sample sale wars of fall 2012?

Zadig & Voltaire 80% Off

Zadig & Voltaire likely fits best in the contemporary-grunge section of your closet. It's cool. It's young. It's on Madison. And yes, it's on sale.

The Zadig & Voltaire sale starts Tuesday at the 260 Sample Sale space. This evening we took our spy gear and scoped out the situation. Shoppers will find an assortment of shoes, bags, belts, scarves and clothing for men, women and children ranging from 60% to 80% off.

If you're looking for leather jackets or pants you are going to want to get to the sale early. There isn't a lot of inventory and you can bet leather jackets priced at $300 and leather pants at $200 will be the first to run out. Silk pajama tops for $150 from $450 are also poised to be a big hit. A tattered leather jacket, which was clearly a return from Macy's was priced at $350 from over $1000. Blazers with bedazzles skulls on the back are $190 from $530.

You're in luck if you're looking for items from last year's sequin collection. There are sequin dresses ($200), tops ($150) and tanks ($150). There's obviously also lots of brand classic tees and tops for $60 and sweaters, which range in price from $90 to $120.

Moving on to shoes, there are a few styles of combat boots ($150) and an eye catching sparkle style wedge ($100). On the bags table, shoppers flocked to the classic style leather tote, which was priced at $130 from $380. Clutches are $100 and cool colored bowling bags are $170. The sale also includes a great range of hats, including straw styles for $30 and leather ones for $70. Scarves are priced between $30 and $50.

If you're a brand fan, this is a sale you won't want to miss. Those who find the contemporary-grunge outside of the comfort zone may find more satisfaction shopping elsewhere. You can browse though a full catalogue of sale pictures on my Flickr account here.

DSW Wall of Fame: From Alaia to Zanotti

By ManhattanMataHari

It’s always fun to shop at a discount store and find current season merchandise for less money than a department store. While browsing DSW we found this season’s Balenciaga booties and Chelseas priced from $539 to $649 (normally $800 to $1100).

Upon further investigation, we found Jimmy Choo flats for $399 to $499 (normally $425 to $500) and elegant silk Manolo Blahnik pumps for$499 to $599. In addition, we found a selection of Fendi, Prada Sport, Emilio Pucci, and Sergio Rossi shoes.

If you look closely, in the same section, you will find Miu Miu, Giuseppe Zanotti and Ralph Lauren Collection discounted 50% off. We were a bit disappointed  to see loads of the same past season Gucci pumps and flats for $230 to $260. We recall seeing the same styles on clearance racks last season.

Heading over to those famous clearance racks, we found most designer footwear to be marked down only 30%. With some searching we found some nice Sergio Rossi suede boots, Gucci wedges and Ralph Lauren Collection oxfords.

Although you won’t find the Balenciagas and Manolos online, is stocked with a huge amount of designer shoes, including Alaia, YSL and Valentino. In the clearance tab of the site, we spotted loads of Sergio Rossi boots for $250 to $450, Giuseppe Zanottis for $200 to $450. Even our favorite Zanotti crystal ballet flats were $450 from a retail price of $930. While the online prices tend to be a bit higher than in-store, there’s never the problem finding a missing shoe in a pile of mess.

Regardless of where you shop, be on the lookout for DSW’s frequent coupons. At the very least, you should be able to score an extra $50 off.

Inside the YSL Sample Sale

Update: Wednesday 9:45am
We were just told that the sale has received a new shipment of merchandise and sale hours have been extended to 9pm on Wednesday and 6pm on Thursday.

Chances are that if you're headed to the YSL sample sale that you'll be reading this while standing on a very, very, very long line. Today we went to the VIP preview and can definitively tell you that this sale lives up to the hype.

Before we get to the details we are going to give you a bit of advice. If you don't like waiting on long lines we suggest going to the sale after 3pm. Generally, this is the slowest time of day at a sample sale. You may not get first-round draft material but there's still lots of items to help you empty your wallet.

Now that we have those details out of the way, we can continue onto selections and pricing. First, there are bags. Lots of bags -- or enough bags to get through tomorrow. There are Roadys ($600), postcard patent totes ($400), YSL canvas totes ($300), duffels/weekenders ($400), Cabases ($800), clutches for $200 and wallets for $100.

Now, shoes. Yes, there are Tributes ($350) but there aren't a lot and the colors are not very desirable. If you're looking for sandals you've come to the right place. There is a great assortment of colors and hights. If you're into Palai bow pumps, you can expect to score big. All sandals and boots are priced at $350. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of boots. When we last checked there were exactly three pairs. Pricing is as follows: Trib 2 $350, sandals $350, boots $350 and all other shoes $200. Men's shoes are all $200.

The best deals, as always, was in the clothing section. Much of the assortment is from fall 2011. You can browse much of the selection from that collection right here. Prices are as follows:

Coats: $600
Jackets: $300
Dresses: $300
Pants: $150
Skirts: $100
Blouses/Tops: $100

As in past years, the sale also includes lots of jewelry, sunglasses, belts and other accessories. Most shoppers would be wise to grab a few heavy cocktail rings, which are priced at $50. They are great gifts for girlfriends and cooler relatives. More specialized jewelry is priced individually and runs in the $200-$300 range. Among other accessories you will find a variety of sunglasses for $75, scarves for $100, belts for $50 and umbrellas for $100.

Overall, this sale is one that is worth shopping but you can avoid a lot of hassle by going to the YSL outlet at Woodbury. The prices may not always be as good but there's never a wait to get in.

Montblanc Sample Sale

Montblanc's "private" friends and family sale is always a great place to pick up sophisticated gifts without breaking the bank. This sale is usually a reader favorite. You can print out the below image for private sale entré. (We doubt it's necessary, but why not go prepared?)

This season, the sale has made a venue change and prices may not be as discounted as its been in the past. During previous sales we found $600 fountain pens selling for $150, watches for $500 from $1500 and $1,000 leather bags marked down to $250.

The sale is only two days, starting Monday. Usually lots of loyal fans turn out for the is discount opportunity, which can translate to long lines. This year, we expect the crowed control to be a lot better now that the sale has moved to a professional sample sale location. (Some times you have to give a little to get a little-- higher prices/ shorter lines.)

Those planning to majorly stock up should be warned that there there is a maximum of five pieces for each shopper. That should be more than enough for shoppers like you and me but enough limits to keep the reselling hoarders at bay.

Those looking for some more feminine gift items should mark their calanders for the Ippolita sample sale, which is scheduled to start Saturday, October 27nd.

Reiss Secret Sale

We just got word that Reiss is hosting a not so secret sale where an assortment of items are discounted 30% off. The sale, which started Tuesday, is expected to run through the weekend.

The promotion includes clothing, shoes and accessories for both men and women. We browsed the sale selection and found a very fashionable print v-neck dress for $227 from $340, studded booties for $284 from $425 and a calf-hair shoulder bag for $247 from $390.

Reiss, which is located on Bleeker Street in the West Village, is a great brand to mix into your waredrobe because it's fashion forward and priced relitivly well. While fashionable the brand is less trend rip-off than Zara and much better quality than many contemporary lines. You can also shop the collection and sale online here.

YSL Sample Sale

The YSL sample sale is not one of our favorite because of the serious hoarding and unmanageable chaos. You wouldn't guess it but YSL customers are quite aggressive. If you're up for this sample sale challenge you will be highly rewarded with serious savings on classic and seasonal brand styles.

This year, the VIP preview -- Shhhhh!-- will start Monday morning and the sale will open to the public on Tuesday. There is a tightly guarded list on Monday, but there usually isn't a line to enter and the shopping atmosphere is much more civilized.

Last season, we shopped the VIP preview and found most shoes priced at $200 but Tributes and Trib Twos were $350. Bags were priced between $200 and $800. YSL muses were $700 and Muse Twos and Downtowns were $300. Jewelry was just $50 and all clothing was priced between $50 for a tee to $600 for a coat.

If you're up for a classic New York sample sale, than this is the place for you. If you prefer a more civilized discount shopping environment, we suggest that you call Woodbury.

Inside Devi Kroell

By ManhattanMataHari

The Devi Kroell sample sale started Monday and we couldn't resist sending our spies in to scope out the sale details. We are happy that we did because the designer showroom is fully stocked with merchandise, including samples from this season's collection.

Most shoppers are attracted to the brand's unique bags. Good thing the sale is stocked with lots of hobos, envelops and an wide array of minaudieres. Prices are in line with the past sales, which is between 80% and 90% off of retail. Unlike past years, there is no clothing but there are enough bags and shoes to keep a Devi fan occupied.

Although the bag variety is expansive you won't want to miss the fancy scarves and belts, which are less than a prix-fixe lunch at the Four Seasons. The belts are  mostly skinny exotic leather styles with some wider versions thrown in for good measure.

Over in the shoe selection, flats were priced the same as past sales. In addition, there are some amazing current season exotic leather boots, but keep in mind the sizes are mostly sample 37s and 40s. We did find a couple of 38s too but they were samples, which means that there isn't much stock.

The prices at this sale are simply too good to resist shopping. We were informed that that the sale will be restocked daily. There are no plans to drop prices toward the end of the sale so shop early for the best selection.

Jil Sander Sample Sale 80% Off

Today we rushed over to the press preview of Jil Sander's sample sale and we were glad we did. Fortunately, there were no lines but that's not likely to continue as word of the great discounts spreads, particularly to Raf Simons fans.

The discount hits 80% off on most items and there is a full range of merchandise from the fall 2011 collection and overstock inventory from spring 2012. The most popular section at the sale is undoubtedly shoes. Shoppers were purchasing towers of assorted shoe styles that reached up to their waists. The shoe popularity might be because everything in the section is under $150-- ya think?!We even spotted flats that were just $50.

Moving on to clothing, shoppers who love iconic pieces from off the runway will score the best. The belted "egg dress" dress is $520 from $2890 and a bubble skirt is about $400 from $1900. If you're still trying to get your hands on the Picasso sweater, you're in luck. The quirky design from spring is now about $330 from $1640. There are also lots of neon paisley prints that starred in designer's summer ad campaign.

The sale also "had" a good selection of bags but the assortment seemed wiped out by the time we were heading out. We wouldn't count on finding much left starting tomorrow. Men can expect to find lots of solid white shirts and sweaters and some outerwear.

There is no changing room. So if modesty is usually your policy we suggest wearing leggings and a tank so you can test the fashion on top of your body armor. The sale runs through Saturday and there will likely be reductions. Just don't expect there to be any restocking.

Lord & Taylor's Friends & Family

Lord & Taylor's friends & family sale starts will begin on Monday, October 15th run through Tuesday, October 23rd. Normally, L&T would not be noteworthy but the department store is the only place that still includes fragrance and cosmetics in their f&f sales.

The discount in the beauty department is 10% off and Chanel, Dior and Fekkai are included. Throughout the rest of the store you can save 25% off and there are only limited exclusions.

The midtown store carries a vast array of Ferregamo shoes, which are included in the promotion. Burberry is also included along with, Jonathan Adler home goods and bedding. It's just too bad that you have to pass so many good department stores to get to L&T.

Inside the David Yurman Sample Sale

By ManhattanMataHari

The David Yurman sample sale started Thursday to mixed reviews. The discount ranges from 30% to 60% discounts and 10% of the proceeds going to breast cancer charity. The sale runs through Sunday but if you can't make it you can always check out the David Yurman outlet, which offers similar discounts all year round.

Inside you will find the sterling collection marked down 30%, but no classic cable bracelets are available. You will find several confetti collection pieces in peridot as well as pearl cables and cuffs. There are lots of semiprecious cushion-cut rings, most plentiful in size 7. There are some stacked cable diamond embellished rings available too, although even with the discount were still pricey.

The 18K collection and  yellow gold and silver assortment were discounted steeper at 40% and 50% respectively. There is a great selection of white gold rings and earrings and lots of long necklaces with semi-precious stone beads. The watch selection is quite limited, but all timepieces are 50% off retail.

We are told that the sale may get an influx or new items on Friday but we wouldn't expect classic Yurman pieces to appear. Unfortunately, we couldn't find many items that were actually 60% off. We are told that there will not be additional markdowns, so go early to get the best selection. If the less than dazzling Yurman assortment isn't catching your eye you can always wait until next week when the Chorpard sale is scheduled to begin at Soiffer Haskin.

Devi Kroell & Jil Sander Sample Sales

Sample sale shoppers buckle your seat belts because we entering the early stages of sale season and we know this can get a bit manic. We start off the season on a high note, two great designers are hosting insider sample sales.

Both Jil Sander and Devi Kroell have sent insiders invitations to attend and rsvp to their sample sales. The Devi Kroell sale will start Monday and run through Thursday. We are told that shopping is by appointment only but you can rsvp to

During the last Devi Kroell sale we found bags that ranged from the basic for $150 (retail $900) to $800 for a metallic exotic skin style (normally $3100). Smaller bags and clutches a at the sale ranged in price from $100 to $250. Sample size shoes (37s or 40s) were $50 and $100 for boots. Non-samples were priced between $100 to $250 for high boots. You can find more past-sale details here.

The Jil Sander sale basically follows the same non-strict rsvp rules. This bi-annual sale will start Tuesday and run through Saturday. During past sales, shoppers scooped up clothing, shoes, bags and accessories for about 85% off retail. Since last sale was mainly winter merchandise we wouldn't be surprised if most of the inventory is overstock from summer 2012. You can see prices and details from the past sale here.

Madison Ave Worldly Things Closing

The Madison Avenue boutique, Worldly Things may be better known among those who carry an AARP card but after 30 years this neighborhood mainstay is closing its doors. The store, which is located on Madison and 70th Street, is hosting an "End of an Era" sale where most merchandise is discounted 50% to 70% off.

Although much of the fashion would not be considered modern by today's standards, one has to admire the craftsmanship and product quality carried in this boutique. While talking to the store owner, he highlighted several cashmere coats that were all and sown. (Couture anyone?)

As expected, this type of quality usually comes with a high price tag but the discounts do make the fashion a lot more affordable. Coats, which range from $1800 to about $2400 are now 50% off. Silk scarves are $100. Sweaters that resemble Chanel's tweeds and multi-color knits are now $500 from $1400.

Younger shoppers might appreciate the accessories. We found the most adorable lizard bag that looked to be inspired by the mini-Hermes Kelly for $750 from $2500. A CDC-inspired belt was $300.

The boutique officially closes in December and we expect that extra discounts will be taken. Between now and then you might need to make a date with mom or grandma to show off your shopping prowess. We are sure she will be impressed!

Amazing Outnet Marni Sale

So, we got browsing and one link took us to another and we landed on the Outnet, which is much too often overlooked when it comes to shopping for great deals. Right now the site is hosting Marni as their highlighted designer and we were surprised to see such a great selection at 50% to 88% off.

Truthfully there are so many great items in our "bag" it's going to be hard to choose. We choose the a metallic jacquard coat that's $518 from $2070 or 75% off, a chocolate ruched crepe dress reduced from $1170 to $187 or 75% off and a contrasting sleeveless cashmere sweater $217 from $910, also 75% off.

Did we mention that there is a full assortment of shoes and accessories that are all priced under $150. We can't believe that there is still so much merchandise left considering the lines at H&M for made-in-China Marni.

Giambattista Valli starts October 18th and we hope that the markdowns are as good as they are on Marni.

Cinzia Rocca's Samples on Sale

Cinzia Rocca specializes in high-end leather, wool and cashmere coats that are made in Italy from the highest quality fabrics. The collection is sold at at stores like Bergdorf Goodman and Nordstrom and basic styles normally retail for about $1000 and more.

Through October 19, Cinzia Rocca fans can snag true designer samples at a fraction of their retail prices. When we say designer samples we mean the literal term, which translates to a true size 6. That also means there is typically only one of each style.

Sample sale prices range from $200 for girls coats to $1000 for a fur trimmed woman's coat. We suggest sticking to the "walking coats" or knee length styles because they are the most versatile in our urban lifestyle. They are also the most abundant and affordability priced at just $400. Capes and short jackets are even less expensive at $300 each. Long coats without fur are $500.

Columbus Day Outlet Sales

Columbus Day these days doesn't mean much unless you work in banking, work for the post office or love a good sale weekend. It's still a bit early for mainstream retailers to begin heavy discounts but that doesn't mean there aren't deals to be had.

Those looking for some fun day-off discount shopping should proceed to your local outlet center. Just beware, some outlet stores are better at the holiday hype than the holiday discounts. Read below to find out the promotions at some of our favorite outlet stores at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.

Bottega Veneta
If you're looking for extra savings on a supple woven bag you're out of luck. The only additional discounts for the weekend will be in the shoe department where shoes are an additional 60% off.

Shoppers at Chloe can save an additional 20% off the outlet price when shopping over the weekend. Right now the majority of the collection is a full year behind what is currently in stores. We were also told that the outlet got a nice shipment of Marcie and Paraty bags. The prices on these brand classics, however, are full retail. See, we told you outlets can be sneaky!

Every weekend throughout the month of October, shoppers can save an extra 25% off of almost everything in the outlet store. Exclusions include classic shirts for men and women. The majority of the merchandise is winter 2011 and a bit of spring 2011.

All Moncler merchandise is 35% off of retail. We are told that the store, which has been open about a year, does not offer any additional promotions. Those looking to stock up now will find a good variety of colors and textures including shiny styles, full length coats and even some wool varieties.

Tom Ford
Columbus Day at Tom Ford looks like it may be the best of the bunch. The outlet is offering an a additional savings between 25% to 50% off already reduced merchandise. You can see the full sale lineup and prices with this link, which will be continually updated throughout the year. (You have to love a store that understands how to use the Internet!)

Weekend shoppers can save an extra 15% off shoes and handbags at the Valentino outlet. The majority of the merchandise is currently last winter's collation.

Saks Friends & Family Dates

Last week Bloomingdale's ran their friends and family sales and customers were very disappointed by the numerous brands that were excluded from the promotion. Later this month, Saks will start their friends and family sale and we expect customers will find the same disappointing exclusions.

This season, the Saks friends and family sale will from from Thursday, October 18 through Sunday, October 21. Last time around participating brands were discounted 20% off, jewelry was 15% off and beauty and fragrances were entirely excluded. Presale for the fall promotion will begin next week.

If you're looking for a good beauty discount you should consider planning for the Sephora friends and family sale, which will run from October 18 through the end of the month. In addition, beauty addicts should keep their eyes open for Lord & Taylor's friends and family sale, which customarily includes Chanel.

Inside Schutz Shoes

Since the Great Recession the boutiques that line Madison Avenue have become a lot more diverse. Now more than ever you can find stores with $3000 cashmere sweaters kissing distance from boutiques with $70 cashmere slacks.

Most New Yorkers didn't know what to expect when Schutz, the Brazilian footwear emporium, opened their first state-side store. The boutique, which is across from Barneys and next door to the anticipated Brian Atwood store, is stocked with fashion forward shoe styles that are all priced very attractively.

Most shoes in the new boutique are spiked and studded and priced between $125 and $300. Many savvy shoppers compared Schutz's shoe assortment to Zara's off-the-runway look-for-less assortment. There has even been some debate if a particular Schutz shoe style too closely resembles the Louboutin Startatata and if they created a too closely related version of the Celine Luggage tote.

In addition to shoes, the new boutique also has handbags, a small assortment of sweaters and some great looking metallic leather jackets for $700. Interestingly enough, we are told that every two weeks the store is stocked with new styles. This also means that some styles are quickly "retired."

We can see Schutz quickly becoming an earnest part of the uptown shopping culture as consumers look to pick up an inexpensive novelty shoe to match a particular outfit. After all, fast fashion can turn out better than other fashion!
