Bergdorf Goodman: Extra 20% Off (Pics)

If you're not beating the heat poolside, we highly suggest that you Uber to Bergdorf Goodman first thing on Tuesday or click over to now to save an extra 20% off of Summer merchandise. Discounts on clothing already topped 75% and the additional promotion brings the final savings to 80%.

Early access started today. You can use this VIP link to start shopping now. In-store shoppers can click here to see pictures from inside the shoe department. There are a few exclusions in the shoe department, like Chanel, Dior, Gianvitto Rossi, Jimmy Choo, and Golden Goose.

The handbag section online doesn't have anything worth mentioning, except for this JW Anderson mini bag that's $340 from $850. Most shoes are limited to one or two sizes for each style. These Givenchy sandals still are available in several sizes and come to $280 from $875, these Manolo sandals are $260 from $875 and Saint Laurent sandals are $286 from $900. (Take note, shoes are going fast. Several pairs already disappeared from when we started writing this post.)

Among the clothing options, there are a few standout pieces. We are crazy for this Rosie Assoulin dress that resembles candy dots that's reduced to $300 from $1600, a full-length sequined Gown from Alexandre Vauthier is $1000 from $5200 and an MSGM zebra dress is $190 from $950.

This will be the last markdown of the season at Bergdorfs. The best part is that sale merchandise is returnable. This promotion will run through Tuesday but we all know the best items will be gone in a matter of moments.

Moda Operandi Final Markdown 75% Off

Prefall merchandise has arrived and now the race is on to move out the older collections. Moda Operandi is the most recent site to slash prices. Right now, you can save up to 80% off on many major fashion items.

Some of the big standouts are from the brand Alexis. This eyelet white minidress is $238 from $600 and this layered maxi dress is $352 from $860. We also came across this magnificent Delpozo dress that's $510 from $1700, a Dolce & Gabbana floral print maxi dress is $870 from $2900 and this LoveShackFancy belted midi dress is $160 from $400.

We also spotted lots of great shoe finds that we didn't expect. Loewe sandals are $173 from $690, Givenchy studded mules are $213 from $850, Jimmy Choo lase pumps are $225 from $900 and Nicholas Kirkwood Baya loafers are $179 from $600. I could go on and on but you're probably better off just looking through the pictures above and clicking over because there are so many great options.

This is the last "hard markdown" at Moda. There will be lots of intermittent promotions where you can save an additional 20%. Moda sales usually runs long after the other stores but they have been closing up shop early. We also noticed a lot of merchandise has moved since the sale first launched. You might not want to hesitate too long.

Confirmed Details: Hermés Sample Sale

Next week, Hermés discounts will hit the Garden State. We have official confirmation that the Hermés sample sale will take place at the Short Hills Mall in a temporary storefront, located on the second floor, outside of Neiman Marcus.

We are told that discounts will be 50% off retail prices. Past sales have included scarves, silks, and ties, ready-to-wear, shoes, enamel jewelry, beauty products, fragrances, and homegoods.  Frequent sample sale highlights are Oran sandals (many in exotic skins), riding boots, Clic-Clack bracelets, scarves, ties, and twillies.

The Hermes sample sale will open to VIP shoppers on Wednesday, July 24. On Thursday, the sale will open to the public on remain in operation through Sunday. VIP shoppers will be required to show their email confirmation and a corresponding state issued ID. All shoppers will be issued a ticket number and are invited to enter to the store location once their number is called.

To the novice, this system sounds very civilized but shoppers can expect to wait several hours. On the bright side, within the Mall area, there is the Short Hills Hilton that has a very nice pool. Rates during the sale are about $175 a night. Even if you don't plan to stay overnight, we highly suggest that you book a room and enjoy the pool area while you wait.

Keep in mind, purchases made at a Hermes sample sale do not come with boxes. All items are marked with the letter "s" symbolizing that they were purchased at a sale. You can click here to see our overview from the Hermes sample sale in Manhasset in October 2018. Here is a post from when the sale was hosted at Soiffer Haskin in 2010. Here are more insights from 2012 and 2015.

While reading about past sales, you will notice a common theme of despair and disappointment. I tend to avoid these types of large-crowd attracting sales. Even at 50% off, a Hermes purchase is expensive. I would prefer to pay the full price and buy what I truly love in a civilized environment.

We will be sure to keep this post updated as more information, stock details and photos are released. Let me know if you agree with my sample sale perspectives and feel free to leave comments below or in our Instagram post. Tips are always welcome.

Hermes Sample Sale
VIP: Wednesday, July 24 from 2pm-6pm
Public shopping: Thursday, July 25
Thurs to Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 11am-5pm

Neiman Marcus Discounts Hit 80% Off

Neiman Marcus is now offering discounts up to 80% when you take an extra 30% off designer clothing, shoes and bags. This promotion started early access today and is available in stores and online. You can use this link to start shopping the sale now.

The shoe section has already been obliterated. There are some nice styles but in most cases only one size is available. There are only three handbag options available and none are even worth mentioning,

The clothing section has some finds, but again, sizing is difficult. There is this Brock collection floral print top for $290 from nearly $1700. Here is a silk beach robe that's basically one-size-fits-all and it's $220 from nearly $1300. (I can assure you it has to be nicer than the one from Rachel Zoe's "fashion box.")

I'm very curious about the fit on this silk jersey Pascal Millet jumpsuit that's $295 from $1685. This Elizabeth & James leveless maxi dress is $93 from $445, which is less expensive than what you would find at the sample sale. There are also leather leggings from The Row priced at 70% off, which is the same as a sample sale.

Don't get so preoccupied by the merchandise that's an extra 30% off because you may really luck out out in the standard clearance section. Here is a Moncler jacket for $825 from $1650, which should really be screen shot for the next sales person that tells you Moncler doesn't go on sale. There is actually an abundance of Moncler discount options right over here.

The nice thing about this sale is that all merchandise is returnable-- even the extra 30% off options. The ability to try different items makes the risk nominal and the upside high. This promotion only runs through Wednesday. Next up, Bergdorf Goodman has some exciting incentives.

Weekend Shopping: Impulses & Obsessions

This week was huge for additional discount promotions. We saw both Net-A-Porter and MatchesFashion offer promotions of an additional 20% off sale prices. Most of the highly reduced bags and shoes are already sold out but it's the perfect time to pick up a few pieces of fashion to take you through the end of the Summer.

Nordstrom also started it's Anniversary Sale. You can click here to see our shopping edit. I always like to use this sale to buy the kids a few items for back-to-school, like sneakers and backpacks.

So far this weekend, I fell upon a few great Gucci pieces from Kirna Zabete. I am crazy about the beach bag  I picked up from 24S.com and can't get over shipping box and presentation. I can't wait to get something new from them to open the box again. You can use the code 20More to save an extra 20%, which is just another excuse to buy more.

Below is a compilation of a few of my favorite sale things. I will be sure to update this post as I scroll uncover more impulse purchases.

Nordstrom Anniversary Presale

Nordstrom is known for having great sales. There are two in particular that can send a city girl shopping in the burbs: The "Half-Yearly Sale" and the "Anniversary Sale." The Half-Yearly sale is clearance, usually towards the end of the season. (Like, now.) The Anniversary Sale is a presale before the new collection hits the department store floor.

Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale starts today. The sale consists of a catalog of pre-Fall merchandise that is discounted 25% to 40% off. Each department has its own special items that are featured in the pre-Fall sale. You can sift through the catalog options right here.

The presale runs to July 18 but is limited to customers who have a Nordstrom credit card. Afterward, on July 20, the sale opens to the general public. Prices return to normal once the sale ends in August.

Back-to-school items are especially attractive during this Nordies sale. For example, you know your kids want new Adidas sneakers for the start of school and they are right here for $36 from $60. Nike kicks are $45 from $65. (There is really no reason not to get them!) Over here is a Champion backpack for $47, which is normally $70. There is also a large amount of cute shorts in case you need to do a mid-season refresh. We even spotted Stokke Xplorer that's discounted to $785.

We are a bit choosier when picking pre-season items for ourselves but a classic Veronica Beard tweed blazer is $435 from $650. We really like this Tibi faux python skirt that's $280 from $242 and this blazer resembles the shape of a Balmain blazer but it's under $400. is just and I really don't mind these tweed style pumps for about $100. We even found a S'well for $22.

The selection this season isn't quite as good as last year but there is still a lot of temptation. It's interesting that designers have realized that pre-gaming sale season is better than post-season markdowns. Don't forget to also check out the beauty deals. We are always a sucker for a new shade of lipstick or an updated nail polish

MatchesFashion Extra 20% Off

The pressure is on online luxury retailers and MatchesFashion is the most recent site to add a little promotion to their final markdown. Starting today, you can save an additional 20% off fall and winter merchandise, which has already been reduced up to 70% off. Use the code EXTRA20 at checkout to reveal the discounted price.

Here is a Balmain blazer that comes to $900 from $1885. (I always say, under $1000 is the right price for this item.) This neutral color Staud bag is $530 from $1100 and this Saint Laurent studded bucket bag is $580 from $1200. This Roksanda bag for $400 from $1000 seems like a sensible purchase.

At this point of the season, most of my "investment" purchases have been made and I'm shopping for some more "inexpensive thrills." Here is a Dodo Bar Or top that's a sustainable purchase at just $100 from $252. Here is the matching skirt. It's actually an adorable outfit for about $180. This white dress from Sea is about $270 from $560 and this Roksanda dress for $650 from $2000 is a keeper.

Usually, the most reduced items are from prior seasons but that doesn't seem to be the case. There is really a good selection from which to shop if you're still looking to boost your wardrobe through the end of the Summer.

Alert: Net-A-Porter Final Clearance Extra 20%

This is what end-of-season shoppers call the final bow. Net-A-Porter is ending their season by offering an extra 20% off some sale merchandise. The sale kicks off on Thursday.

No code is needed to engage the additional. Just look for items identified "Sale Must Have." (You can see all the eligible items directly in this link.) Once the item is in your cart, and you've proceeded to the second page of checkout, the savings will automatically be applied. When you use the extra 20%, the purchase becomes final sale and can't be returned.

We don't know what exactly what items will be included in the extra markdown but last year Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Lanvin, and Fendi were included. Usually, the most heavily reduced merchandise is not eligible for the extra 20% off.

This promotion is usually a shopping frenzy. We suggest you start adding items to your cart now and then remove the non-applicable merchandise once the promotion code is live. We will be sure to add item pictures and examples once the sale is officially live.

This sale will run through August 13 but everyone knows that the best items will be gone in the first few hours. Take note, next time you see this selection it will be on the Outnet and prices will be higher.

ShopBop Discounts Exceed 75% Off

Shopbop is offering a deal that might be hard to refuse. Right now, a selection of spring and summer merchandise is already discounted 70% off but for two days you can save an extra 25%. Use the code EXTRA19 at checkout to engage the additional savings.

I'm actually very surprised about how many great items I found. Check out this dress "beach party dress" from Isa Arfen that's reduced to about $150 from $650. This Free People beach maxi cover-up comes to about $100 from nearly $200.  It's technically called the 'Mykonos Maxi Tom' and I believe it needs to live out its destiny. I'm also in love with this Koche patchwork sundress that's already 70% off and comes to $322 from $1440.

This Brandon Maxwell outfit is a dream and it's 70% off. I can't decide between the top or the pants. I  might need to get them both. I also wouldn't mind a pair of these Dannijo earrings that come to $55 from $245. This Hayward corduroy bag is totally worth $170 from $790. I have one in suede and it's a great item. You won't regret it.

As far as sales go, ShopBop's selection seems to be pretty on point. There is a large assortment of price points and even sizes that are still available. Seems like a good opportunity to pick up something extra nice before your big August vacation.

SSence Discounts Hit 70% Off

As we begin to near the end of the sale season cycle, size options will become a little thin and prices tick up and down from site to site. Our latest browsing session brought us SSense. Discounts on the Canadian site seem to be near or exceed even the steepest local markdowns.

In addition to the steep discounts, there is also a really eclectic assortment that isn't abundant State-side. We find that the site has the best collection of Instagram-able luxury streetwear style. Here is a Versace tee that's reduced to $189 from $300. The black version is slightly more. The epitome of street style, Off White, is even more highly reduced. Here is a long-sleeved tee for $125 from $415 and this terry cloth hoodie is $260 from $700.  Palm Angles might even be a little cooler for lack of overexposure and these leggings are just $99 from $325. There are also lots of Heron Preston and Balenciaga.

Beyond streetwear and Instagram royalty, there are also some great FASH-ion items. He is an Erdem floral print dress that's $315 from $1015. A Dolce & Gabbana floral print dress is $660 from $1700 and shorts are reduced to $200. We found this Missoni headband for $92 and this Joradash multi-color denim skirt is just $90. The site is also amazing for Nikes. Many new styles are reduced to under $80.

You should take note that the most reduced items are final sale. At some point, Ssense does an extra 20% off. We just aren't sure when it can be expected.

Manolo Begins 2nd Markdown 50% Off

Everyone is still recovering from a long holiday week but we are ready to trade in our Havaianas for Hangisis. The Manolo Blahnik boutique will begin its second markdown on Monday. The sales assortment is better than ever as ownership is changing hands. (You can read a more substantial explanation in our previous Manolo post.)

This most recent markdown follows the 33% discount that started last month. The next, and final, markdown is always our favorite as it offers the best shopping opportunity of the season. We expect that the final price cut will come at the end of the month. Prices normally range from $195 to $350.

You can expect to find a full assortment of shoes from the Summer collection and even lots of classics that don't usually go on sale. Personally, we are waiting to make our major purchases. After all, so many shoppers are still out of the city. You can click here to see the reports from Manolo's past final markdowns or slide through the pics to see what similar discounts can be found online.

Manolo Blahnik
31 West 54th Street (b/w 5th and 6th)
Monday to Friday 10:30am to 6pm
Saturday 10:30am to 5:30pm
Sunday 12pm to 5pm
The store will close from 2pm to 3pm for restocking (lunch)

July 4th Sale Mania Roundup

July 4th is famous for explosive sales. Some even go as far as calling it 'Christmas in July.' Considering the recent third markdowns at department stores-- like BarneysBergdofs, and Saks-- it's more like New Year's in July.

Unfortunately, Net-A-Porter's July 4th markdown was a fizzle but we did finally relent and cash out our shopping cart. The purchases didn't end there. The French boutique, 24 Sévres is offering an extra 20% off with the code 20MORE, which brings the discount to nearly 70% off on many items. After, you can use the code July20 to save an extra 20% off shoes on Farfetch and MyTheresa's' extra 20% off discount doesn't require a code.

Just remember, the holiday promotions don't end with the fireworks. Extended sales have become as much of a tradition as the underlying sale. The bonus day, final hours and last chances are as commonplace as an afterparty.

Below is a compilation of a few of our favorite things. We can't wait until they arrive. We will be sure to update this post as we scroll and cart more items.

Inside Details: Net-A-Porter Final Markdown

We thought it would be a good idea to share some upcoming news before the fireworks capture your attention. Net-A-Porter will begin its final markdown on July 4. Besides for a small sporadic promotion, this is the last price cut that will occur this season. The sale section will stay live through the end of the month.

When Net-A_Porter's sale strikes, merchandise tends to go very quickly. The shoes and bags are always the first to fly off the site. We suggest you start browsing and tucking things away in your cart right now.

We have our eyes on this Khaite maxi dress that's already reduced 70% off and is $354 from $1180. It comes in black too. This Victoria Beckham white dress is silk and isn't priced significantly more. There are also lots of size options. We love this Versace top that's great for when you want to swap out a tee for something more dressed up.

There is a large variety of Golden Goose already reduced by 30%. We are anticipating they will be reduced further. You don't even need to wait for another markdown on this Acne belt. It's $18 and works as a great pop of color with jeans or a simple dress.

You can easily rationalize this Dolce & Gabbana floral print bikini after another price cut-- especially if it fits well. Obviously, you need to wear the coordinating skirt with the bikini. All budgets are blown with this Balmain jacket is under $1000.

These final markdowns are great for scoring high-quality items without sacrificing a tuition payment. We love to sort through what's left from The Row, Victoria Beckham, and Gabrielle Hearst. We tend to look for pieces that are classic and multi-functional. You know, your savior when you feel like you have nothing to wear? Check out this crepe maxi dress from Gabrielle Hearst that's currently $920 from $2300.

The NAP final sale is usually pretty fast-moving. Once the sale is over the section completely disappears. TheOut is the next stop-- as it becomes past season fashion.

Barneys 20% +15% Off (Sale & Full Priced)

Hey Mad-Spy readers, we have the ultimate deal for you. Barneys has offered us an additional 20% off everything online. You must use this link and the code BNYJULY to activate the promotion. The discount is good on sale and full-price merchandise (except beauty). We have also been told that you can stack the code BNY15 for an extra 15% off sale items.  The two codes combined will save you about 30% off when used together on sale items.

Obviously, we suggest you start your browsing in the sale section where discounts top 75% off. The extra 20% off promo brings the total savings to nearly 85% off.  Here is a silk Prabal Gurung dress that comes to $440 from $2200, a Derek Lam maxi dress is $160 from $800, and this silk floral print dress is $162 from $850.

In the bag section, there is still this Balenciaga 'Techno' bag that is $920 from $2290, a VLTN shoulder bag is $1176 from $2445, and this shoulder bag from The Row is $1488 from $2650. The shoe sale department isn't plentiful but there are these tweed Golden Goose that comes to $256 from $460 and Manolo satin mules are $480 from $1000.

The real fun begins when you start browsing those items that never seem to go on markdown. How about a new pair of classic style Louboutins. The discount even works on preorders for these new style boots. Now would be a good time to take the plunge if you've been considering one of these Fontana Milano bags or a Delveaux.

This promotion will only be active until July 3. We suggest you get on it ASAP.

Gilt Bag Sale: Celine, Dior & Burberry

A few weeks ago, I fell upon a Gilt designer bag sale. The prices were great but I felt no urgency to make a commitment. The bag stuck around for a few days. I watched it. Then, in a moment-- poof, it was gone. The said bag is full price at various stores and I whimper a little bit every time it catches my eye.

I share this tale as a warning because Gilt just started its early July 4th designer sale. The bag I wanted is still gone but there are many others that catch the eye. Most impressive is the selection of Celine bags, which includes many new Hedi styles. Most are reduced by about 30% off retail, which is only notable because Celine bags never go on markdown. Here is the "Lady Gaga" bag that's $3200 from $4150, the Triomphe bag is $2845 from $3850, and this Double Strap belt is a good find at $299 from $570. There is also the more Old Celine classic Nano Luggage tote that's $2300 from $2700.

Some of the other good finds include Tisci's Burberry belt bag that's about $1200 from $1500. (Not as discounted as I would like but savings nonetheless.) Check out this Dior C'est that's $2600 from $3400 and this YSL Vicky is $1700 from $2300.  A Miu Miu shopper makes a great beach bag for $630 from $1020.

Department stores have so much Balenciaga on markdown that a final sale Gilt purchase is unnecessary.  Stay away unless you spot something ridiculously discounted. Don't go for Valentino unless it's more than 40% off and Prada needs to be reduced 50%. All bets are off you spot a bag that's a brand new style or an item you've been lusting after and haven't been able to capture.

For now, I'm going to continue to whine about the bag I missed and hope it turns up again. Wish me luck and learn from my mistake.

Weekend Shopping: The Best of Sale

Getting ready for some major July 4th sales? So are we! Pre-red, white, and blue shopping celebrations are going to be the theme of the next 10-days. Discounts approaching 80% off are not uncommon but finding sizes and the right product mix will be more challenging.

This weekend we suggest you check out Intermix. The site is hosting a private sale where discounted merchandise is discounted an additional 40% off, which brings the total savings to 75% off on many items. You need to use this link to access the added markdown. We also picked up a few Aviator Nation items from Bandier, which is hosting an additional 40% off sale.

Click below to see an edit of some of our favorite highly discounted items. Check back throughout the weekend because we will add more links as we spot them. Happy Weekend! 😎

Bergdorf Goodman: Closer Look at 75% Off

Last week, we broke news about the upcoming final markdown at Bergdorf Goodman. With discounts hitting 75% off, it was hard to resist taking a closer look.  We are sure glad we did.

There aren't very many discounted handbags left at the store. We shot some photos for those still curious. Online we spotted this Off-White tote that's $570 from $1370 and here is a JW Anderson rainbow tote for $500 from $990. There's not much else beyond that.

Among the shoes, there is a scattering of Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutins. Both have been reduced several times. Balenciaga BB booties are reduced to $516 from $1290, Givenchy sandals are $250 from $650, and Fendi logomania pumps are $395 from $990. We also spotted a few unicorns, um, Chanel shoes on the sale racks. A black perforated Chanel heel is $560 from $1125 and an aqua strappy heel is $980 from $1400. We can't honestly say that we would take home either pair of Chanel shoes even if they were free. You can see pictures here.

Sizes are very patchy in the online shoe sale section. There is one size of these Hangisi patterned heels that are $400 from $1025. Who is a lucky size 8? Here are The Row's Granpa slippers in black or grey for $270 from $670 and these Loeffler Randall espadrille platforms are actually adorable for $80.

We love a good handbag and shoe edit but you know where to find us when designer clothing hits 75% off. On the fourth floor, we spotted a Fendi logomania sweater for $372 from nearly $1500, a Prada skirt with ruffles is $300 from $1390, and a sleeveless Alaia dress is $1000 from $4k.

The online selection isn't nearly as exciting but there are a few gems. Here is a Zimmerman floral print dress for $380 from $950, a Rosie Assoulin beaded blouse is $275 from $1100, a Jonathan Simkhai blouse is $123 from $500, and this Alexander Wang dress is $56 from $225.

After the holiday weekend, there will be an additional discount promotion. Taking the risk is a personal preference.

Inside: Neiman Marcus Last Call/ Final Markdown (Pics)

Neiman Marcus is the latest department stores to take their Summer merchandise to the third markdown. The discount at Neiman Marcus is officially up to 75% off.

In anticipation of this big price cut, we investigated the Neiman Marcus at Hudson Yards and the store in Paramus, New Jersey. The Hudson Yards store has the best handbag selection of any NYC department store. We found several classic style bags from Valentino, Loewe, and Balenciaga. You can see pictures over this way. The discount on most designer bags will be 60% off.

The online bag selection is still better than expected. We are keeping an eye out on this Loewe Gate bag and this Prada bag with fringes is $1078 from $2200. There is so many Balanciaga styles still available. This Balenciaga graffiti City bag is $1127 from $2300, and this 'I Love Techno" bag is currently reduced to  $900 from $2290 and this crossbody is $583 from $1190.

The Hudson Yards store still has lots of Dior shoes. They are currently reduced 40% off but we couldn't confirm that they would be an additional price cut. At Paramus, there is a large assortment of Louboutin shoes that are getting a second cut. Spiked suede shoes are $414 from $633, Silver Predu style heels are also $441 from $845 and denim spiked Follies are $525 from $1195. You can see pictures over this way.

Online shoppers should keep their eyes locked on these Manolo Susa style sandals, these Balenciaga pointed toe mules that are now just $225 from $750, and Saint Laurent sequined heels are $360 from $1200.  There are also lots of Aquazzura styles that are perfect for all types of Summer needs.

As we are browsing online we see the prices getting reduced. It might not be a bad idea to pull the trigger now. This is the final markdown for Neiman Marcus but there will be additional discount incentives in mid-July. We just don't think there will be much left of anything that's desirable.

New Arrivals: Global Fashions Valentino Sale

The Global Fashions Valentino sale just started Monday but reinforcements have already been sent. The sale has been restocked with lots of Valentino goodies. You can click here to see what we found at the sale yesterday.

All clothing is reduced 80% off and bags and shoes are discounted 70% off. Expect to find a large amount of couture runway pieces along with staple Rockstud icons for both women and men. The sale runs through Thursday. Shoppers should be sure to mention Madison Avenue Spy for additional discount promotions.

Inside: Saks Third Markdown (Pics)

It is hard to believe that it's not even July and we are talking about third markdowns. Wednesday, Saks Fifth Avenue will take the limelight as it begins its next set of discounts.

Shoes will be 60% off and designer clothing will be discounted up to 75% off. The private sale link just went live online. You can click here to begin shopping the latest markdowns.

At the store, there aren't many discounted handbags left over. We spotted a few Valentino bags reduced 60% off. You can click here to see what's left. We are surprised that the online bag assortment is even better than at the store. This Balenciaga crossbody is $800 from $1600, a Fendi shopper is $1300 from $2600, and this Loewe Flamingo bag is a great item even at full price but is a find at 50% off.

The juicier assortment is in the shoe department. The new markdowns weren't stickered yet but it's not too hard to do that math. You can click here for pictures. There are several Gucci styles spread across the racks. We are still eyeing these Prada d'Orsay patent leather heels that we expect to be $332 from $830, Manolo mules with a square rhinestone buckle should be $454 from $680 and denim BB Manolos will be just $208.

Online we found these Manolo strappy sandals that we love for $330 from $835, Alexander Birman braided sandals are $258 from $400, and Balenciaga BB pumps are $380 from $950. These Laurence Decade denim booties might be worth holding on to until the Fall considering they are priced at $290 from $725.

The clothing options are a little bit more hit or miss. Here is a Fendi dress that's $700 from $2900, an Etro Kimono is $540 from $1800, and this See by Chloe dress is $118 from almost $400. Take a jump here to see what we found at the store.

Remember, that this final markdown is Final Sale at Saks Fifth Avenue. The no returns, no exchanges policy flies in the face of department store customer service but it's hard to blame them for not wanting boomerang merchandise.

Inside: Global Fashions Valentino Sample Sale

In the wake of canceled online orders, it's refreshing to reality shop. What you pay for, is what you take home. Seems like a novel idea. I especially enjoyed the experience while previewing Global Fashions Valentino sample sale.

The sale begins on Tuesday morning. Inside you will find a large amount of Valentino clothing for men and women reduced 80% off. Shoes, bags, and accessories are discounted by 70%.

Some of the sale highlights include a metallic pink Valentino Rockstud Spike bag for $462 from $1545. It's hard to peel yourself past the gorgeous shoes and accessories but I always love to lose myself in the fashion. The fabrics, design, and details can make any clothing lover swoon and at 80% off it becomes a justifiable purchase. A silk floral print blouse comes to $400 from $2000, a lace navy dress with a nude slip is $660 from $3290 and a runway floral print skirt is $340 from $3415. Goop Merchandise Markdowns 70% Off

I'm not a big follower of Gwennie but I've always respected her luxe sensibilities. Over the weekend, an Instagram follower DMed me about a great markdown on the Goop site. I was skeptical but promised to investigate. After a fulfilling late-night scroll, I decided it was worth sharing.

Right now, you can save 70% off a healthy selection of Gwenth Paltrow's favorite things on Goop. The assortment consists of some uptown favorites like Nili Lotan lounge pants that are $135 from $450-- they are cashmere! I'm a tempted by these painter pants that are $100 from $345 and I adore these Victoria Beckham slingbacks that are $260 from $860.

I'm always a sucker for a white cotton Summer dress. There are lots of options, including this version from Khaite with puffy sleeves that's $325 from $1080, another style with dainty straps that is $300 from $990,  and a gauzy dress from Arkas that's $100 from $325.

I can vouch that even after scrolling, I haven't "uncoupled" or considered fruit varieties for baby names.  Just take note, all sales are final and we can't imagine that Gwennie will be very accessible for customer service issues.

Bergdorf's Final Markdown Lowdown

This is a big week for those who love to sale. Many retailers will begin their final markdowns. Bergdorf Goodman's final markdown is scheduled to begin Monday morning online and at the store on Tuesday.  Markdowns will hit 75% off retail.

You can click over this way to see what we found at the store just last week. The new pricing will officially go live on the site Monday morning but it feels as if many of the reductions have already taken place. As usual, I suggest you begin your browsing before the sale battalions take over. I've already started sticking items in into cart.

I've been stalking this Manolo flat sandal in various colors but seem to keep missing my size. There are a few sizes left in this Valentino Rockstud sandal. It's worth "carting" to see what it goes to next. I love the simplicity of this Paul Andrew sandal but there aren't very many size options but this Prada kitten heel slingback has a few more size variables,.

This next markdown will bring our primary focus to clothing. There are still many great options and a 75% off reduction is going to make it hard to choose. Here is a Dundas one-sleeve ruffled top that's perfect for a hot Summer night and it's already 80% off. I love the colors on this Dolce & Gabbana pajama top  and this lollipop print Loewe silk top is adorable with just about anything.

There a much more healthy assortment of contemporary items. This LoveShackFancy ivory eyelet dress is $200 from $325 and is waiting in the cart for another price cut. The same goes for this M. Missoni chevron maxi dress.

This is the final markdown at Bergdorfs but later this month there will be additional discount promotions. You just never know what merchandise will last that long. For now, we have our shopping card cocked and loaded but let's hope we can execute on this one.

Other retailers are just moments away from slashing prices again. Now is the perfect time to plot what you need and grab what's been hard to find.

In honor of the first day of Summer, Net-A-Porter is offering 20% off a selection of full priced merchandise. Use the code JUNE21 at checkout.

You can see what we've been stalking below.  Just a reminder: Nobody can have everything.

Getting Ready: Neiman Marcus 3rd Markdown

It's been a frightfully quick season as retailer race to eliminate Spring and Summer merchandise. Neiman Marcus is the most recent store to entice customers before the holy Last Call, or third markdown.

Right now, you can browse the sale selection and save an additional 25% to 30% off already reduced merchandise. That brings the discount on may items to 75% off or even more in some items. We scoped out the Neiman Marcus at Hudson Yards for their first ever big markdown. You can see lots of pictures from inside the store, from numerous departments, over this way.

Dior lovers should take note of the plentiful Dior sale selection. The discount is 40% off but it's not included in the extra discount (for now). Most of the shoppers we saw were European, so maybe there is a chance that they don't grab everything we J'adore before another price cut. The bag selection at the store contains an assortment of Valentino, Balenciaga, Loewe, and a few YSL pieces. The various options are much better than what remains at Bergdorf Goodman. You can see pictures here.

The first order of online business is to dive into this private Prada men's sale. You must use this link to access the additional 25% off sale, which brings the total markdown to 60% off on many items. Here are Cloudburst sneakers reduced to $390 from $745. We actually like this red and black combo. Here is a bi-fold wallet with fish for $200 from $460 or a seagull card case is $117 from $260.

Heading back over to the woman's categories, this Prada tote is $700 from $1550 and check out the lines on this Saint Laurent short jacket that's just $650 from $3500. Here is a Versace sleeveless tee that's $280 from $750 and Givenchy twisted leather heels are $400 from $875.

We also suggest you look beyond the most familiar designer names. This Kenzo floral print skirt is $82 from $470, a colorful silk blouse from Johnny Was is $135, a Dodo Bar Or ruffled miniskirt is $106 and this Opening Ceremony silk print dress is just $75 from $425.

These aren't the lowest markdowns of the season. After the weekend, the promotion will hit an extra 33% off. Your reward for reading to the end of the post is this last piece of information.  The coveted Last Call will begin July 27. Stay tuned.

Nordstrom Designer Discounts 70% Off (Gucci)

If you're looking to shop the steepest discounts of the season we suggest you scope out a Nordstrom store. The department store's half-yearly sale includes lots of designer merchandise that are reduced up to 70%.

Our first sort was Gucci and we were very surprised to find merchandise reduced 70% off. Granted, it's older merchandise but at these prices, it's somewhat affordable.  This NY patch cream blazer is timeless and now comes to $840 from $2800 and a foil pleated skirt is $660 from $2200.

Beyond Gucci, we spotted this Balmain denim trim blazer that's $700 from $2250. A Rocksanda dress for $475 from $1585 is a great wardrobe enhancement and the same goes for this classic blazer with bows at the cuffs for $518 from $1730.

During any Nordstrom edit, we like to check out what's available from our homegirl, SomethingNavy. Here is a chambray shirt that's now $42 from $85, a sleeveless mock turtleneck for $19,  and we really like the little girl dresses. This sundress is $27 from $45. Some other random finds include this Kenzo tote, which seems perfect for the beach, that's $200 from $400,  this striped halter dress that's $75 from $125, a Tanya Taylor silk tie-dye wrap dress that is $300 from $500 and Jimmy Choo crystal and tulle heels are $420 from $1050.

There is a third discount but Nordstrom doesn't usually drop prices below 70%. If you're shopping in the stores-- that's another story.
