Gilt Bag Sale: Celine, Dior & Burberry

A few weeks ago, I fell upon a Gilt designer bag sale. The prices were great but I felt no urgency to make a commitment. The bag stuck around for a few days. I watched it. Then, in a moment-- poof, it was gone. The said bag is full price at various stores and I whimper a little bit every time it catches my eye.

I share this tale as a warning because Gilt just started its early July 4th designer sale. The bag I wanted is still gone but there are many others that catch the eye. Most impressive is the selection of Celine bags, which includes many new Hedi styles. Most are reduced by about 30% off retail, which is only notable because Celine bags never go on markdown. Here is the "Lady Gaga" bag that's $3200 from $4150, the Triomphe bag is $2845 from $3850, and this Double Strap belt is a good find at $299 from $570. There is also the more Old Celine classic Nano Luggage tote that's $2300 from $2700.

Some of the other good finds include Tisci's Burberry belt bag that's about $1200 from $1500. (Not as discounted as I would like but savings nonetheless.) Check out this Dior C'est that's $2600 from $3400 and this YSL Vicky is $1700 from $2300.  A Miu Miu shopper makes a great beach bag for $630 from $1020.

Department stores have so much Balenciaga on markdown that a final sale Gilt purchase is unnecessary.  Stay away unless you spot something ridiculously discounted. Don't go for Valentino unless it's more than 40% off and Prada needs to be reduced 50%. All bets are off you spot a bag that's a brand new style or an item you've been lusting after and haven't been able to capture.

For now, I'm going to continue to whine about the bag I missed and hope it turns up again. Wish me luck and learn from my mistake.

Weekend Shopping: The Best of Sale

Getting ready for some major July 4th sales? So are we! Pre-red, white, and blue shopping celebrations are going to be the theme of the next 10-days. Discounts approaching 80% off are not uncommon but finding sizes and the right product mix will be more challenging.

This weekend we suggest you check out Intermix. The site is hosting a private sale where discounted merchandise is discounted an additional 40% off, which brings the total savings to 75% off on many items. You need to use this link to access the added markdown. We also picked up a few Aviator Nation items from Bandier, which is hosting an additional 40% off sale.

Click below to see an edit of some of our favorite highly discounted items. Check back throughout the weekend because we will add more links as we spot them. Happy Weekend! 😎

Bergdorf Goodman: Closer Look at 75% Off

Last week, we broke news about the upcoming final markdown at Bergdorf Goodman. With discounts hitting 75% off, it was hard to resist taking a closer look.  We are sure glad we did.

There aren't very many discounted handbags left at the store. We shot some photos for those still curious. Online we spotted this Off-White tote that's $570 from $1370 and here is a JW Anderson rainbow tote for $500 from $990. There's not much else beyond that.

Among the shoes, there is a scattering of Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutins. Both have been reduced several times. Balenciaga BB booties are reduced to $516 from $1290, Givenchy sandals are $250 from $650, and Fendi logomania pumps are $395 from $990. We also spotted a few unicorns, um, Chanel shoes on the sale racks. A black perforated Chanel heel is $560 from $1125 and an aqua strappy heel is $980 from $1400. We can't honestly say that we would take home either pair of Chanel shoes even if they were free. You can see pictures here.

Sizes are very patchy in the online shoe sale section. There is one size of these Hangisi patterned heels that are $400 from $1025. Who is a lucky size 8? Here are The Row's Granpa slippers in black or grey for $270 from $670 and these Loeffler Randall espadrille platforms are actually adorable for $80.

We love a good handbag and shoe edit but you know where to find us when designer clothing hits 75% off. On the fourth floor, we spotted a Fendi logomania sweater for $372 from nearly $1500, a Prada skirt with ruffles is $300 from $1390, and a sleeveless Alaia dress is $1000 from $4k.

The online selection isn't nearly as exciting but there are a few gems. Here is a Zimmerman floral print dress for $380 from $950, a Rosie Assoulin beaded blouse is $275 from $1100, a Jonathan Simkhai blouse is $123 from $500, and this Alexander Wang dress is $56 from $225.

After the holiday weekend, there will be an additional discount promotion. Taking the risk is a personal preference.

Inside: Neiman Marcus Last Call/ Final Markdown (Pics)

Neiman Marcus is the latest department stores to take their Summer merchandise to the third markdown. The discount at Neiman Marcus is officially up to 75% off.

In anticipation of this big price cut, we investigated the Neiman Marcus at Hudson Yards and the store in Paramus, New Jersey. The Hudson Yards store has the best handbag selection of any NYC department store. We found several classic style bags from Valentino, Loewe, and Balenciaga. You can see pictures over this way. The discount on most designer bags will be 60% off.

The online bag selection is still better than expected. We are keeping an eye out on this Loewe Gate bag and this Prada bag with fringes is $1078 from $2200. There is so many Balanciaga styles still available. This Balenciaga graffiti City bag is $1127 from $2300, and this 'I Love Techno" bag is currently reduced to  $900 from $2290 and this crossbody is $583 from $1190.

The Hudson Yards store still has lots of Dior shoes. They are currently reduced 40% off but we couldn't confirm that they would be an additional price cut. At Paramus, there is a large assortment of Louboutin shoes that are getting a second cut. Spiked suede shoes are $414 from $633, Silver Predu style heels are also $441 from $845 and denim spiked Follies are $525 from $1195. You can see pictures over this way.

Online shoppers should keep their eyes locked on these Manolo Susa style sandals, these Balenciaga pointed toe mules that are now just $225 from $750, and Saint Laurent sequined heels are $360 from $1200.  There are also lots of Aquazzura styles that are perfect for all types of Summer needs.

As we are browsing online we see the prices getting reduced. It might not be a bad idea to pull the trigger now. This is the final markdown for Neiman Marcus but there will be additional discount incentives in mid-July. We just don't think there will be much left of anything that's desirable.

Inside: Saks Third Markdown (Pics)

It is hard to believe that it's not even July and we are talking about third markdowns. Wednesday, Saks Fifth Avenue will take the limelight as it begins its next set of discounts.

Shoes will be 60% off and designer clothing will be discounted up to 75% off. The private sale link just went live online. You can click here to begin shopping the latest markdowns.

At the store, there aren't many discounted handbags left over. We spotted a few Valentino bags reduced 60% off. You can click here to see what's left. We are surprised that the online bag assortment is even better than at the store. This Balenciaga crossbody is $800 from $1600, a Fendi shopper is $1300 from $2600, and this Loewe Flamingo bag is a great item even at full price but is a find at 50% off.

The juicier assortment is in the shoe department. The new markdowns weren't stickered yet but it's not too hard to do that math. You can click here for pictures. There are several Gucci styles spread across the racks. We are still eyeing these Prada d'Orsay patent leather heels that we expect to be $332 from $830, Manolo mules with a square rhinestone buckle should be $454 from $680 and denim BB Manolos will be just $208.

Online we found these Manolo strappy sandals that we love for $330 from $835, Alexander Birman braided sandals are $258 from $400, and Balenciaga BB pumps are $380 from $950. These Laurence Decade denim booties might be worth holding on to until the Fall considering they are priced at $290 from $725.

The clothing options are a little bit more hit or miss. Here is a Fendi dress that's $700 from $2900, an Etro Kimono is $540 from $1800, and this See by Chloe dress is $118 from almost $400. Take a jump here to see what we found at the store.

Remember, that this final markdown is Final Sale at Saks Fifth Avenue. The no returns, no exchanges policy flies in the face of department store customer service but it's hard to blame them for not wanting boomerang merchandise.

Inside: Global Fashions Valentino Sample Sale

In the wake of canceled online orders, it's refreshing to reality shop. What you pay for, is what you take home. Seems like a novel idea. I especially enjoyed the experience while previewing Global Fashions Valentino sample sale.

The sale begins on Tuesday morning. Inside you will find a large amount of Valentino clothing for men and women reduced 80% off. Shoes, bags, and accessories are discounted by 70%.

Some of the sale highlights include a metallic pink Valentino Rockstud Spike bag for $462 from $1545. Valentino pool slides are available in almost every size and in various colors for $210 from $695 and studded leather bracelets with turquoise stones and silver studs are $255 from $845. You can see lots of pictures in the jump.

It's hard to peel yourself past the gorgeous shoes and accessories but I always love to lose myself in the fashion. The fabrics, design, and details can make any clothing lover swoon and at 80% off it becomes a justifiable purchase. A silk floral print blouse comes to $400 from $2000, a lace navy dress with a nude slip is $660 from $3290 and a runway floral print skirt is $340 from $3415. There is even a full packed rack of lust-worthy Valentino gowns. Take a look here.

While you're shopping, don't miss the small selection of M.Missoni bikinis and coverups that are reduced 70% off. There is also a rack of Valentino scarves that would gorgeous beach sarongs. Pictures are here.

This is one sale we highly recommend shopping for high-quality wardrobe forever staples, along with closet enhancing bags and shoes. Shoppers should be sure to mention Madison Avenue Spy for additional discount promotions.

Goop Merchandise Markdowns 70% Off

I'm not a big follower of Gwennie but I've always respected her luxe sensibilities. Over the weekend, an Instagram follower DMed me about a great markdown on the Goop site. I was skeptical but promised to investigate. After a fulfilling late-night scroll, I decided it was worth sharing.

Right now, you can save 70% off a healthy selection of Gwenth Paltrow's favorite things on Goop. The assortment consists of some uptown favorites like Nili Lotan lounge pants that are $135 from $450-- they are cashmere! I'm a tempted by these painter pants that are $100 from $345 and I adore these Victoria Beckham slingbacks that are $260 from $860.

I'm always a sucker for a white cotton Summer dress. There are lots of options, including this version from Khaite with puffy sleeves that's $325 from $1080, another style with dainty straps that is $300 from $990,  and a gauzy dress from Arkas that's $100 from $325.

I can vouch that even after scrolling, I haven't "uncoupled" or considered fruit varieties for baby names.  Just take note, all sales are final and we can't imagine that Gwennie will be very accessible for customer service issues.

Bergdorf's Final Markdown Lowdown

This is a big week for those who love to sale. Many retailers will begin their final markdowns. Bergdorf Goodman's final markdown is scheduled to begin Monday morning online and at the store on Tuesday.  Markdowns will hit 75% off retail.

You can click over this way to see what we found at the store just last week. The new pricing will officially go live on the site Monday morning but it feels as if many of the reductions have already taken place. As usual, I suggest you begin your browsing before the sale battalions take over. I've already started sticking items in into cart.

I've been stalking this Manolo flat sandal in various colors but seem to keep missing my size. There are a few sizes left in this Valentino Rockstud sandal. It's worth "carting" to see what it goes to next. I love the simplicity of this Paul Andrew sandal but there aren't very many size options but this Prada kitten heel slingback has a few more size variables,.

This next markdown will bring our primary focus to clothing. There are still many great options and a 75% off reduction is going to make it hard to choose. Here is a Dundas one-sleeve ruffled top that's perfect for a hot Summer night and it's already 80% off. I love the colors on this Dolce & Gabbana pajama top  and this lollipop print Loewe silk top is adorable with just about anything.

There a much more healthy assortment of contemporary items. This LoveShackFancy ivory eyelet dress is $200 from $325 and is waiting in the cart for another price cut. The same goes for this M. Missoni chevron maxi dress.

This is the final markdown at Bergdorfs but later this month there will be additional discount promotions. You just never know what merchandise will last that long. For now, we have our shopping card cocked and loaded but let's hope we can execute on this one.

Weekend Shopping: The Best of Sale

It's the first official weekend of Summer and we are still waiting for the sun to shine. Third markdowns started at Barneys and discounts exceed 75% off on some items. Other retailers are just moments away from slashing prices again. Now is the perfect time to plot what you need and grab what's been hard to find.

In honor of the first day of Summer, Net-A-Porter is offering 20% off a selection of full priced merchandise. Use the code JUNE21 at checkout.

You can see what we've been stalking below.  Just a reminder: Nobody can have everything.

Getting Ready: Neiman Marcus 3rd Markdown

It's been a frightfully quick season as retailer race to eliminate Spring and Summer merchandise. Neiman Marcus is the most recent store to entice customers before the holy Last Call, or third markdown.

Right now, you can browse the sale selection and save an additional 25% to 30% off already reduced merchandise. That brings the discount on may items to 75% off or even more in some items. We scoped out the Neiman Marcus at Hudson Yards for their first ever big markdown. You can see lots of pictures from inside the store, from numerous departments, over this way.

Dior lovers should take note of the plentiful Dior sale selection. The discount is 40% off but it's not included in the extra discount (for now). Most of the shoppers we saw were European, so maybe there is a chance that they don't grab everything we J'adore before another price cut. The bag selection at the store contains an assortment of Valentino, Balenciaga, Loewe, and a few YSL pieces. The various options are much better than what remains at Bergdorf Goodman. You can see pictures here.

The first order of online business is to dive into this private Prada men's sale. You must use this link to access the additional 25% off sale, which brings the total markdown to 60% off on many items. Here are Cloudburst sneakers reduced to $390 from $745. We actually like this red and black combo. Here is a bi-fold wallet with fish for $200 from $460 or a seagull card case is $117 from $260.

Heading back over to the woman's categories, this Prada tote is $700 from $1550 and check out the lines on this Saint Laurent short jacket that's just $650 from $3500. Here is a Versace sleeveless tee that's $280 from $750 and Givenchy twisted leather heels are $400 from $875.

We also suggest you look beyond the most familiar designer names. This Kenzo floral print skirt is $82 from $470, a colorful silk blouse from Johnny Was is $135, a Dodo Bar Or ruffled miniskirt is $106 and this Opening Ceremony silk print dress is just $75 from $425.

These aren't the lowest markdowns of the season. After the weekend, the promotion will hit an extra 33% off. Your reward for reading to the end of the post is this last piece of information.  The coveted Last Call will begin July 27. Stay tuned.

Nordstrom Designer Discounts 70% Off (Gucci)

If you're looking to shop the steepest discounts of the season we suggest you scope out a Nordstrom store. The department store's half-yearly sale includes lots of designer merchandise that are reduced up to 70%.

Our first sort was Gucci and we were very surprised to find merchandise reduced 70% off. Granted, it's older merchandise but at these prices, it's somewhat affordable.  This NY patch cream blazer is timeless and now comes to $840 from $2800 and a foil pleated skirt is $660 from $2200.

Beyond Gucci, we spotted this Balmain denim trim blazer that's $700 from $2250. A Rocksanda dress for $475 from $1585 is a great wardrobe enhancement and the same goes for this classic blazer with bows at the cuffs for $518 from $1730.

During any Nordstrom edit, we like to check out what's available from our homegirl, SomethingNavy. Here is a chambray shirt that's now $42 from $85, a sleeveless mock turtleneck for $19,  and we really like the little girl dresses. This sundress is $27 from $45. Some other random finds include this Kenzo tote, which seems perfect for the beach, that's $200 from $400,  this striped halter dress that's $75 from $125, a Tanya Taylor silk tie-dye wrap dress that is $300 from $500 and Jimmy Choo crystal and tulle heels are $420 from $1050.

There is a third discount but Nordstrom doesn't usually drop prices below 70%. If you're shopping in the stores-- that's another story.

Bergdorf Goodman Extra 25% Off Sale (Pics!)

We have come to the high point of sale season. Many stores have already taken a second cut. We are just moments away from the most desirable third markdown. Before the next big sale event, Bergdorf Goodman will be hosting a  discount promotion.

Starting Thursday online and all sale merchandise will be an additional 25% off. That brings the total discount to nearly 70% off most items, which is just a few percentage points higher than final markdown prices. At the store, the promotion will begin on Friday but shoes, handbags and several other departments are not participating.

We decided to get ahead of this big upcoming sale and snapped pictures of in-store highlights. You can browse in-store pictures in the jump. We suggest that online shoppers get browsing now. Sizes are already patchy and merchandise will disappear very fast once the promotion goes live.

The online handbag selection is completely depleted. We suggest you go into the store or call if you see anything in our pictures that you like. You can begin your shoe shopping focused on designers that are already 60% off. Those include Prada, Manolo Blahnik, and Gianvitto Rossi. These Manolo sandals will be $250 from $785, these Paul Andrew high heel sandals will be $210 from $700 and Gianvittor Rossi sandal-style Marry Janes will be $280 from $900.

It's at this point in the markdown evolution where designer clothing begins to become an interesting prospect. Here is a Balmain blazer that will come to $1000 from $3400. Our target price on this item is $900 but we would grab this because it's very close. (Sizes are limited.) We love the lines on this Dundas tuxedo dress that will be $1050 from $3500 and we are crazy for this Erdem rose print dress that will come to $750 from $2530.

When prices get this low it's hard to justify shopping for inferior quality merchandise. If you buy a piece or two every season during these supreme markdowns, you can build an amazing wardrobe. Quality fashion is pretty timeless. Pictures from the store are in the jump.

Just remember to start shopping now. Merchandise will go very fast once word gets out about this next Bergdorf Goodman promotion.

Inside Forty Five Ten 60% Off

The Dallas-based multi-brand retailer, Forty Five Ten recently made its entry into the New York retail scene at Hudson Yards. The boutique/boutiques are actually comprised of several different retail environments, which are set alongside Neiman Marcus.

The approximation to Neiman Marcus is actually very well thought out. While Neiman Marcus offers a more conservative view of luxury, Forty Five Ten serves up a variety of emerging and fringe luxury designer options. Inside you will find an artful assortment from the likes of Partow,  Rachel Comey and Palmer Garding set alongside luxury mainstays like The Row and Prada.

This is Forty Five Ten's first sale season and we were very curious as to what we would find. Most sale merchandise is reduced 60% off, which is in-line with other big retailers. The big differential is the assortment. We took lots of pictures, which can all be found here.

Some of the big standouts include an assortment of Loeffier Randall sandals that are 60% off. This pair of velvet sandals are $140 from $350 and Delpozo mules are $272 from $680. This Erdem rose dress is $1418 from $3545 and a Sies Marjan coated trench is $514 from $1300. We noticed a bit more at the store than what you will find online. We took pictures that you can browse over here.

Forty Five Ten's fashion assortment is anything but safe but it provides a great alternative to Neiman Marcus. We aren't sure how New Yorkers will respond to $28 Uber trips to Hudson Yards. For now, there are lots of tourist dollars excited for a luxury impulse purchase.

MyTheresa Extra Discounts

Nobody does European fashion quite like, well, Europeans. The selection is always a little different than what you will find at home and the styling is done with an extra twist of creativity. The best part is that the sale selection is always different than what you would find locally.

Right now, MyTheresa is hosting a promotion where sale merchandise is discounted an additional 10% off. Granted, the sale prices aren't rock bottom or anywhere close to a third markdown but that always translates into a better selection.

This YSL wallet on a chain comes to about $1000 from $1650. We haven't seen a Fendi Kan I on sale at all this season and here it is for $1450 from $2300. Here is a small VLTN Valentino bag.  It's $900 from $1675--  the same price it went to at Barneys when it sold out.

Moving over to shoes, there are Boyy slides with an oversized buckle reduced to $310 from $490. These Tod's sandals didn't get reduced state-side but are here they are for $380 from $575 and Valentino Rockstud rainboots are $255 from $475. We are coming into another election. Maybe it's time to pick up a pair of these Balenciaga knife heels for 50% off.

Some of the standouts among the clothing is this Balmain sweatshirt that's $250 from $400. This Dolce & Gabbana floral print dress is more reduced than we've seen it anywhere else at $840 from $2295. This Dundas top is a great look  for $330 from $900.

Don't be discouraged if an item isn't as reduced as you would like. Just put it in your shopping cart and wait. It's the modern-day version of shopping bazaars and negotiating price.

Moncler Blowout Sale

We know it's not even technically Summer but when it gets cold you will be happy for this post.

We were just alerted that Neiman Marcus is hosting an extra 25% off already reduced Moncler jackets, clothing and accessories. Final discounts range from 50% to 70% off. Most sizes are currently available in each style. You can click here to browse the full assortment or pick from our favorites below.

Saks 75%-Off For Two Days

Saks Fifth Avenue is hosting a quicky flash sale where a segment of clothing is discounted 75% off. The catch, or the flash, is that this sale is only two days.

Among some of the reduced items is this Akris sleeveless dress that's $870 from $2900, a Fendi embellished denim jacket is $736 from nearly $2000 and, a MSGM floral print maxi dress is $540 from almost $1500. Here are Men's Gucci Yankee slides for $300 from $1000, a Moncler velvet baseball cap is $100 from $300, Balenciaga Triple S sneakers are $330.

Some items aren't discounted so highly reduced but they are still a great deal. Here is an Off-White tote that's perfect for the beach and reduced to $360 from $520 and a Gucci backpack is $1000 from $1400.

This sale is only online and ends on Tuesday night. For now, it's good fodder while we wait for Saks to draw its third markdown.

Barneys Offers 75% Off & Inside Pics

Luxury retail stores are feeling the pressure to offer the most competitive prices. In doing so, extra discounts promotions are being used to entice shoppers to 'buy more stuff.' Online at Barneys you can find lots of older merchandise discounted 75% off. The discounts and selection or as good, if not better, than any Warehouse sale.

The extra discounted merchandise is only available online but that didn't stop us from taking a quick tour inside the store.  We are sure glad we did. Over this way, we have some pictures of the remaining shoes and handbags. You. will notice that there are several new handbags additions to the sale section. We noticed a lot more Valentino styles and even some new Balenciaga styles.

In the shoe department, you will still a lot of Manolos, Louboutins, and Balenciaga shoes. Discounts range from 40% to 60% off. We were most surprised that Barneys added more Chanel shoes to its sale section too. You can click here to see pictures.

It appears as if Barneys added a lot of older merchandise to the sale and there is an abundance of items that are discounted 75% off. Take a look at this Wandler peach handbag that comes to $219 from $950, an Open Ceremony poplin shirtdress $99 from $400, a Derek Lam sundress is just $159 from $625, a Balenciaga Logomania sweater is $300 from $1390 and Gianvitto Rossi sandals are $199 from $800.

We are having too much fun shopping this sale. We can go on and on but then this post would never go live. We are going to leave it here and continue to fill the shopping cart. Wish us luck!

Second Markdown Alert: Net A Porter

Listen, um read closely, because you're not going to want to miss this. Net-A-Porter will start its second markdown Thursday morning. Prices will be reduced up to 70% off and many popular style bags and fashion are still in stock.

Among the bag selection, you can expect to find most styles discounted 40% to 50% off. Some items we've been watching include this XXS Balenciaga Bolide-style bag that's already reduced by 50%. At  60% off it will come to just $740 from $1850. (That's pretty close to sample sale prices.) This Balenciaga camera bag seems like a no-brainer if it's in the $490-range.

Loewe linen tote that is sure to be at least 40% off once the additional markdown hits. It's the perfect pulled-together but still casual-style bag to stroll along Newtown Lane. We also like classic this Wandier bag in navy and the white one with highlighter yellow trimming is a Summer beauty.

The discounts on shoes will range from 40% to 70% off, with most styles getting the 60% markdown treatment. Among the most heavily reduced shoes are these Nicholas Kirkwood mules that are poised to go to 60% off and these Paul Andrew white slingbacks are just as good. These Bottega Veneta slingbacks are even more beautiful in person and we can see getting a lot of use out of these Tabitha Simmons suede sandals. There is also a huge amount of sneakers from designer to running.

Expect to find an infinite array of clothing discounted 70% off. There is still this cream colored Balmain tank left but it won't last once it's priced under $200 and this Balmain herringbone blazer is already in the checkout zone.  Here is a black spaghetti strap Zimmerman dress that can be worn to a mariad of Summer events. The same can be said for this white crochet detailed dress. This Dundas dress has sold out at other places but it's still here on NAP. Here is a Jacquemus dress that's love at first sight. that is an excellent buy even now.

The new markdown won't go live until Thursday morning but the best merchandise will go sell out fast. We suggest you pile up that cart and edit before dawn.

Unicorn of Sales: Inside the Dior's Markdown (Pics)

Nearly everything that will be on sale has already hit the markdown racks. The only holdout, until now, is Dior. Starting Thursday, most of our area stores will have reductions of 40% off on various Dior items.  Dior boutiques are providing discounts of 50% off.

Most of the Dior sale selection is limited to shoes, some clothing and a scattering of miscellaneous accessories. Licensed departments (like the handbag departments in BergdorfsBloomingdales, and Saks) don't have any sale merchandise.

In anticipation of the big markdown, we headed to various stores to see exactly what will be included in the markdown. You can click here to see pictures. Some standout items include colorful canvas sneakers that will come to about $600 from $1000, toile print slingback pumps that come to about $600 from $990, pool sides are $534 from $890, and espadrilles with ankle laces are $414 from $690. (We have pictures here.)

If you are able to make it to a Dior boutique you might even be able to save more. A scattering of hoes clothing and accessories are reduced by 50%. Be sure not to miss the sunglasses because they are plentiful and -- who can't use an extra pair of sunglasses for summer. Pictures from inside the Soho boutique are a click away.

Another great resource for discounted Dior is Shop375.  They have a variety of classic J'adore slingbacks, Diorama bags, and even great clothing items from the Dior x Kaws collaboration. Discounts range from 20% to 50% off retail -- depending on the item. You can even use the code SHOP10 for an additiunal 10% off.

Department stores are a little skittish about releasing in the sale information on Dior. We have a few in-store sales associates you can contact. The Dior markdown officially starts on May 13.

ShopBop VIP Sale Link -- 75% Off

The hugely popular Shopbop sale event kicked off today for VIPs. Shoppers can use the code SCORE19 and save an additional 25% off all sale items. The total discount can get as high as 80% depending on the item.

The sale officially kicks off tomorrow but we suggest you dig in right now because merchandise will go quickly once the public is let in. For now, you need to use this link to access the additional Shopbop savings.

This is a great time to grab a new few items for the upcoming Summer weekend. Browsing through the 70% off section, which is final sale, a Costarellos one-shoulder floral print dress is $313 from $1400,  Laurance Decade loafters are $150 from $660, and a Cinq a Sept jumpsuit is $135 from $700.

Outside the most reduced items, we are in love with this Versace silk blouse that's $680 from $1300, Alice & Olivia shoes are $280 from $350, Ganni tie-dye shorts are about $110 from $300, and we have been stalking this toile print Tibi dress that's here for $470 from $900. We love these white high-rise wide-leg jeans from Frame that are $144 from $275 and they are still available in all sizes.

The sale ends Friday at midnight (PT). This is the best deal you can expect, outside of Shopbop's friends and family sale. If you ask us, it seems like a good opportunity to celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of Summer.

Neiman Marcus Extra 25% Off Sale

Neiman Marcus hasn't officially presented a second markdown but has been hosting lots of promotional discount incentives. Right now, you can click over and save an additional 25% off sale items. The best part is that there is still a diverse assortment if you take the time to dig.

Among the bag selection, there is this Balenciaga tote that's now $750 and there is one of these graffiti BB bags left and it's about $1000 from $1880. We also found this denim Valentino Rockstud bag is $1500 from $2675 and this Givenchy GV3 we've been stalking is $1390 from $2650. The best deal is this Prada tote that's under $500 from $1350.

Once you hit the shoe department the hunting becomes a little more complicated. Sizes are limited among the most reduced style shoes. Nearly every size of this Saint Laurent suede sandal is still available and it's now $450 from $1000. There are also lots of size options in this Chloe scalloped flat that's now 50% off. You have to check out the heel on this Manolo that's $460 from $825 and this Manolo d'Orsay is just $273 from $935 but only one size is available.

You might notice some items are much less reduced than others. This scattered discount assortment will provide a prolonged sale season. Watch closely if an item hasn't hit the discount to your satisfaction. Last Call will begin on June 27. Until then, there will a series of additional markdown promotions spanning up to an additional 33% off.

Saks Fifth Avenue 2nd Markdown (Pics)

Sale season started very early this season. Most every other local department store has already taken a second cut on prices. Saks Fifth Avenue was the only neighborhood holdout, well, until this morning.

Right now, you can save up to 70% off at Saks. The store's handbag department is still pretty well stocked and there are even more discounted options online. You can see pictures from inside the store right here. Online there is a remaining Saint Laurent Sulspice is $1465 from $2790, a Balenciaga tote is %656 from $1250, a Valentino velvet spike bag is $1650 from $3175, and a Loewe puzzle bag with fringe is $2040 from $3890.

Upstairs in the shoe department, there is still a very nice assortment of sale options. Most styles are reduced between 50% and 60% off.  (Pictures are over here.) Online we spotted Gucci Yankee slides for about $500 from $1000.  These Manolo Hangisis that we love are now $460 from $1025. Hangisis print flats are about the same price and solid classic Hangisi heels are $500 from $1000. Fendi Mani pool slides are hot but they are still $340 from $650.

Discounts on clothing are a little scattered. Most items are 60% off.  At the store, we found lots of Moncler jackets reduced 50% off. You can click here to see pictures. A Moschino tee is $177 from $200, a Versace silk cardigan is $700 from $1550 and an Off-White sweatshirt is $250 from $550.

You can click over this way to see pictures of everything (or most everything) we saw at the store. Last season, Saks hardly had a second markdown. We are not sure what to expect concerning third price cuts. It appears as if Saks would like to schedule its own agenda but the competition to final markdowns is just too much pressure.

Manolo Blahnik's Biggest First Markdown

Manolo Blahnik is breaking with tradition and starting its boutique sale several weeks early. The Manolo boutique sale will begin on Monday, June 10. We are told that the discount will be 33% off and the selection will be larger than ever before.

The Manolo Blahnik brand is hotter than its been for years but the sales racks are filled with a variety of classic and seasonal style shoes. We've never seen so many Hangisi Manolos on sale and some are even reduced to 60% off. We can only imagine that we can expect even more and better from the boutique.

In April, it was announced that Manolo's U.S. partner George Malkemus would not be renewing his licensing agreement with the parent company after a 37-year relationship. We can only imagine the corporate shift is the root of the abundance of Blahnik sale merchandise. Manolo has since revealed plans to take over all stateside operations.

In a little over a year, Manolo has opened boutiques in Tokyo, Taiwan, Singapore, Geneva, Paris, a concept store in Selfridges and its first men's store in London. Now, we won't be surprised to see boutiques popping up all across the country. There is no question that there is a huge desire for men's Manolos.

This is just the boutique's first markdown. Usually, the second markdown comes pretty quickly. This is going to be a Manolo season you will want to watch closely. If you're not already a MadSpy subscriber, you might want to sign up right now.

Manolo Blahnik
Monday-Friday 10:30am-6pm, Sat 10:30-5:30PM, Sun 12pm-5pm
The boutique will close from 2pm to 3pm to restock
31 West 54th Street

MatchesFashion 2nd Markdown Surprises

MatchesFashion took its second markdown today. Discounts now range from 30% to 60% off. We dove into the sale section assuming we wouldn't find a generous assortment but we were very surprised.

In some instances, the discount assortment matches and exceeds the markdowns at our very own neighborhood haunts.  Over here we found shoes from The Row discounted 50%. They are reduced by 40% at most stores. Here is a Saint Laurent bandana print bag marked down 50%. We haven't seen YSL reduced more than 40% anywhere else. Here is our friendly Fendi-Fila print bucket bag that's 40% off, which is the same as most other locations if you can still find it.

Some other good finds include this Fendi red logo belt that's $275 from $550. Here it is in black for the same price. Valentino Rockstud sandals are $450 from $750 and we haven't seen these around the racks for a while. This Prada flame skirt is from last season but still works great for Summer and is a good value at 60% off. This Balmain stripped blazer is $940 from $1885 or 50% off and a Balmain tee is $172 from $342.

It's refreshing to see such a wide assortment of good options still available, It also doesn't seem like the site is crashing with wild shoppers. We suggest you take some time on Friday to put together MatchesFashion edit of your own. Just remember, no girl has everything!

Barneys 2nd Markdown (30+ Pics)

Barneys just started its second markdown this morning. Some bags and shoes are discounted by 50% and some clothing is reduced by 60%. We were initially very excited for this markdown but despite a few exceptions, it's a bit of a tease. After touring the store and online, it appears as if most items didn't really get the second markdown treatment.

There are a few online standouts.  If you're looking for a Balenciaga bag now would be the time to pounce. A bunch of Market Totes are also 50% off. Here is a Chloe bucket bag for $830 from $1650 and this linen Saint Laurent tote is $1369 from almost $2000. Click here for pictures of what bags are on sale at the store.

Some of our favorite items include this Balenciaga tee that's $230 from $450. Remember when Triple S sneakers were selling for twice their retail price? Now they are 40% off. This Givenchy baseball cap is 60% off and these Gucci slides are 40% off. We have lots of pictures of bags and shoes.

Take note, the online selection still includes a lot of YSL and Valentino bags that sold out at other stores. At Barneys on Madison, we found a few great Fendi totes and pouches. You can see pictures from at the store over here.
