Weekend Shopping: Obsessions & Impulses Labor Day Edition

ATTENTION: Bottega Veneta Pouches were restocked and white and various other colors are now available. Click here. We just found a fresh launch of red, which we've never seen. Click here for red.

There are only a couple beach days left before the unofficial end of Summer. It's just about time to put down the White Claw and it's not a moment too soon because that stuff is actually disgusting. I  would love to say that I'm still hunting for ultra reduced bikinis and sandals but I've had my fill. We are now turning our attention towards transitional items that get us excited for a new fashion season.

The most fashion forward are clamoring for Bottega's Pouch and we just found the nude back in stock. More price conscious shoppers are grabbing the Mansur Gavriel look-alike version that's $400 or about 80% less expensive. The fashion dupe is already sold out at Bergedorf Goodman and isn't expected to be restocked until December.  You can still snag one from Ssense in black or pink. (Now sold out.) Don't wait until everyone gets back from extended vacation-- those will be gone too.

If you need a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes, Century 21 has a selection discounted between 40% and 50% off. We also spotted some items from the Dior x Kaws collaboratiuon discounted 60% off.  There is also a small selection of classic Off-White sweatshirts for 60% off.

I also found myself tolling Fashionphile. It's not officially a sale but site stalkers will notice a slew of  new markdowns. Here is a new Givenchy mini GV3 for about $800, this Louis Vuitton Giant Logo pouch is reduced to $765 and an Hermes pouch is $245.

Below is a list of some of the most noteworthy items I found. Keep checking back and I will add more. (P.S. The Fashionphile pics aren't working. You can use the links above):

MyTheresa Extra Discounts

The Labor Day promotions are beginning to roll in and even European sites are trying to get a piece of the action. Today, MyTheresa started a shopping incentive where reduced merchandise is an extra 30% off. You can add the code FREEDEL for free shipping.

MyTheresa isn't known for their dramatic markdowns but they always have a great assortment. The additional discount brings many items down to about 50% off and there are lots of great options for Fall.

Picking up from where we left off with trends last season, there is a huge assortment of Balenciaga shoes, bags and clothing. This Balenciaga logo sweater is $450 from $1290 and Speed Trainers are about $500 from $770. Saint Laurent Nikki ankle boots are $535 from nearly $1100, a Valentino mini-tote is about $1300 from $1950, Loewe shoes are $280 from $785, and a Versace dress is $670 from $1600. There are also a lot of great Prada pieces. This dress is $430 from $1230, a Prada tote is $518 from $1058 and a banana sweater is $285 from $680.

For those who have been on the prowl, MyTheresa has the Bottega Tote that seems to gaining Instagram fame. There are also some Pouch options, including black.

The promotion ends August 30th. Don't be discouraged if an item isn't as reduced as you would like. Just put it in your shopping cart and wait. Sometimes stalking is more fun than the shopping.

Farfetch: Extra 30% Off Sale

We've hit that point of the Summer that we couldn't even consider another white gossamer dress -- regardless of price. Summer shopping is kind of over but we fully condone taking a discount opportunity to start Fall shopping.

Farfetch just started an incentive where you can save an additional 30% off already reduced merchandise. You can use the code FX30 to engage the discount.

Daniel Lee's new Bottega Veneta is turning out to be the biggest trend for the coming season. We wouldn't exactly mind a new intrecciato bag. Here is a classic style that's now about $2000 from $3700 and here is a smaller style that's $1260 from $2260. This JW Anderson classic black bag is only $600 from $1700 and this Jil Sander bag is $2080 from $4878.

Shoes are a little more difficult to nail down because of reduced sizing options. Her his a pair of emerald green slingbacks from No.21 that are $228 from $1247, Alchimia Di Ballin booties are $191 from $900 and Balenciaga houndstooth booties are $725 from $2270.

Among the clothing is this Rosie Assoulin dress that comes to $411 from over $1900. (You can pair it with a denim jacket and it's Fall appropriate.) Speaking of which, this dip-dyed denim jacket is $90 from $417. This Josie Natori embroidered denim trench is a very special piece and is priced at $450 from $2426.

There is really a a huge assortment of items in the sale section. It takes time to scroll but you have some time. The promotion runs through September 9.

Bandier Extra 50% Off Sale

Everyone on the SLT-AKT-FLY circuit needs to listen up because styling for your Barry's Bootcamp or Orange Theory takes a lot more than showing up. A great workout outfit is the best accessory to your toned muscles. Scoring a great look for a discount is even a bigger triumph.

Bandier just started a sale where reduced merchandise is discounted an extra 50% off. The selection includes a large verity of athleisure clothing, workout wear, outerwear, sportswear, sneakers and accessories. The selection is very good and the prices are about what you would find at a Bandier sample sale but without the hassle.

The sale assortment includes all the brands you flex at the gym or just wear for 'dress rehearsal':   Aviator Nation, Ultracore and Monrow. Be sure to check out the selection from the Adidas x Missoni collaboration too.

Some of the sale highlights include these Beyond Yoga crushed velvet leggings that are just $30 from $115 and All Access joggers that are $55 from $155. An Adidas x Missoni jacket is $130 from $305, Golden Goose athletic sneakers are $225 from $530 and an Ultracore cropped sports top is $30 from $125.

This sale is being billed as a Labor Day sale and runs through September 3. We suggest you browse now before word gets out and sizes become scarce.

Weekend Shopping: Obsessions & Impulses

It's hard to get excited about any shopping considering all of our attention is focused on soaking in the last days of Summer. I really try to direct my attention towards the kids and create memories that will withstand a decade of time.

That doesn't nullify the need for a relaxing scroll.  Right now,  you will still be able to find a few interesting items within the sale assortment at Saks Fifth Avenue. The discounts are up to 75% off. Revolve also has some major markdowns upwards of 70% off. Intermix recently added some late Summer arrivals to its sale section too.

This week, I'm most excited about finding a replacement for Drybar's discontinued sparkle hairspray It's taken me weeks of testing and trying assorted products but this Unicorn hairspray ($16) offers the perfect sparkle mist to add extra glow to the golden hour or any other hour of the day or night.

Below is a compilation of a few of my favorite items that I've purchased, carted or agonized over. I will be sure to update this post as I scroll uncover more impulse purchases.

The IT-It: Plaid

As much as we hate to see Summer winding down, it's always smart to stay ahead of fashion's biggest trends. We are excited to bring on the browns, the sweaters, and slip-on an extra layer--perhaps in the form of a plaid?

Credit: Trendfriend

Plaid is a signature of 90s grunge culture, which has been pushing hard into all pockets of 2019 lifestyles. Plaid suiting and mashed-up separates are already hard-hitting in the street style world and are sure to capture the attention of photographers lenses during this upcoming fashion week.

Burberry, Brock Collection, and Monse offer classic schoolgirls plaid options, which is perfect hitting study hall. Personally, we prefer the cooler mashups offered by Preen by Thornton Begrazzi, which mixes plaids, tartans, and checks.

Take the liberty to mix checks, Madras, gingham and windowpane to your heart's desire. It gives you a kind of preppy appearance, plus there is a kind of mannish touch that feels like couture Lumberjack. If all else fails, grab a flannel and you can brag about conquering this timeless trend with almost no effort at all.

Sephora End-Of-Summer Sale

Most people are surprised at my low-key beauty regimen. (If you ever want to call it that.) I'm especially au natural during the Summer when I refuse to compromise my beach time for a manicure. Short nails and sunscreen are all I need.

Coming into Fall that will all change. Without a tan I'm sure to head back to the old routine of concealer, foundation, blush, mascara ...blah...blah...blah. Sephora's current promotion is the ideal time to stock up on everything I know I'll need for Fall. Shoppers can use the code SUMMERSAVE to engage a discount of 15% off.

The promotion begins Tuesday and runs through August 27. I've listed all my favorite beauty items below. In blogger talk that translates to mean the I actually buy myself.

Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (5.75 $60)

Dior Diorshow Mascara (Black $29.50

YSL Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-In-Stick Lipstick (Smoking Plum $38)

Pat Mcgrath LuxeTrance Lipstick (Donnatella $40)

La Mer Eye Concentrate (Splurge $225)

Laneige Water Bank Eye Gel (Budget $40)

Dyson Hairdryer ($399)

Totokaelo Finds at 70% Off

Online shopping has taken over such a large part of our retail experience that there are close-by stores that I have only experienced online. For example, Totokaelo, which is known for it's 'new wave fashion' is in prime Soho territory but I've only shopped the store online.

For lack of a better analogy, I'm happy with our online romance and wouldn't want to jeopardize the relationship by meeting in person. The exclusively virtual experience works well because I trust the quality and value of the merchandise.

Considering the big discounts, you might want to investigate establishing your own relationship with Taotkaelo. Most sale items are 60% to 70% off and there is some very intriguing merchandise to discover.

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of Hayward bags. They are sold in Bergdorfs and represent an understated elegance. There are no logos on the bags and the quality is incredible. This mini baby blue moire is just $177 from $590. There is a yellow one too for the same price. A large size, in Black moire, is $255 from $850. They are all lined in leather. You really don't find this type of quality for these prices.

Other sale items that caught my attention are these Simon Rocha jelly slides for $170 from $565, a Rachel Comey jumpsuit for $180 from $600, and this Sies Marjan sleeveless dress for $389 from $1300. I'm in love with the lines on these JW Anderson shorts that are $168 from $560. There is also a great selection of highly reduced Ellery clothing and accessories.

The length of these Balenciaga capri pants is the epitome of city chic. I would pair them with ballet flats, a simple tee, and a Hermes Evelyn crossbody.  It's the best-dressed mommy playground uniform ever. Period. End of story.

It's up to you if you want to establish a virtual Totokelo relationship or take it to the next level. Either way, it's comforting to know that you will get great quality stylish fashion.

Moda Operandi Final Markdowns

For retail shoppers sale season is about to come to a close. It's essentially 2am, the music is off and the lights are about to be turned on. The party is just about over. In relation to Moda Operandi, you have less than 48 hours to check out anything that remains in your cart.

Some of the items I'm still considering include this Loewe pink and white Gate bag that's $1920 from  $3200, a Johanna Oritz hat is $93 from $310 and Givenchy silver sling-backs are $240 from $795. This long sleeve Balmain dress is a little bit of a splurge at $700 from $2300 but it will take you way into Fall.

The sale section officially disappears at 11:59PM on Sunday. Choose wisely.

Stylebop: 25% Off Everything

Get this! Starting Thursday morning, shoppers can save 25% off everything on Stylebop. That includes the new Fall collections and sale. Just use the code LASTCALL25 to engage the discount.

You can't go wrong applying the code to merchandise that's already on sale and there are some really great items on mega-discount. This Delpozo blouse is $300 from $1350. I still have a crush on this Raf era Calvin Klein skirt that's now only $280 from $1855. These Balenciaga knife boots come to just $300 from $1970. They are a bit overplayed but for this price can look amazing with rolled up jeans or black peddle pushers.

Some of the pre-season highlights include this Balmain tote that comes to $750 from about $1000, a TB Burberry belt is $337 from $460 and a Max Mara cashmere coat represents casual-decadence. Even brand new Moncler is included in the promotion. These Moncler Genius boots are $318 from $425 and a Moncler Noir Kei Ninomiya puffer is about $1475 from $1925. And get this, the site carries Philipp Plein and it's all included in the promo too.

The promotion launches at 7am CET. In NYC, that's 1am Monday morning. We suggest you start shopping now and cart what you like right now. The sale will end mid-day on Sunday in NYC.

TheOutnet: Dolce & Gabbana Sale

UPDATE: Use the code AUGUST25 to save an extra 25% off. (Thank you @Luxe__Hunt)

TheOutnet is hosting a large sale of Dolce & Gabbana merchandise. The discount on most items ranges from 50% to 60% off, which isn't exactly earth-shattering but the selection is really phenomenal.

Some of the highlights include this patchwork lace short skirt that's $558 from $1600, a silk floral print skirt is $978 from $2645, playfully embellished sandals are $490 from $1260 and this space-floral theme classic midi dress is $864 from $1910. I love the print on this scarf and it's actually a consideration at $200 from $400.

I agree. The prices seem very high, but I noticed that some prints are from the recent Summer collection. The shells print is still in stores now. I carted my favorite items and will wait for a good promotion before I check out.

In the meantime, the site also is plentifully stocked with Zimmerman, Pucci and M. Missoni pieces that are good end-of-Summer to Fall options. This Versace Collection silk blouse can actually be very useful and it's only $250.

Remember, fashion week is only a few weeks away. Time to get cracking!

Saks Fifth Avenue: Save Now Promotion

We have become all too familiar with department stores' gift card shopping incentives. You spend as much as you can for the opportunity to receive a gift card for a later purchase. More often than not, you get your gift card and think that you're going to save it to buy something special. By the time you commit to the purchase, the gift card is expired. It's all very disappointing.

Good thing, Saks Fifth Avenue is offering a promotion that doesn't require to use a gift card at a future date. Depending on how much money you spend, you can save money off your purchase right now. For instance, if you spend $400 you can save $100, spend $800 and save $200 off expenditures of $1200 will earn you a savings of $300. The promotion is only available online. Use the code LOVESF at checkout to engage the savings.

Last year, there were nearly no restrictions on this promotion but this season. This go-round we had to search ard for brands that are included. (You know it's going to take some serious searching when even Michael Kors opts out.) The most attractive designer options include Balmain, Gianvitto Rossi, some Golden Goose, Manolo Blahnik, Aviator Nation, Rachel Comey, and some various others.

Some items that might be in the realm of consideration include this Sara Battaglia rainbow paillette dress that is already reduced to $500 from $2000. These Gianvitto Rossi mules are already reduced to $350. While browsing, we found these Manolo Hangisi 'Love' heels reduced to $410 from $1025. After the code, they come to just $317. Move fast. There aren't many sizes available.

Don't hesitate, the discount only runs through Wednesday. Next time Saks is offering a promotion it could be one of those tricky gift cards.

Weekend Shopping: Impulses & Obsessions

There isn't another brand that can cause the same amount of buzz as the Manolo Blahnik final markdown. This season's exceptional assortment and prices led the way to sample sale-style lines. Shoppers were a bit taken back when prices were adjusted upwards after the first day. We have to believe that local wholesale customers were, understandably, unhappy.

This weekend marks the final days of the Net-A-Porter sale season. The sale is officially over on August 13. It's a good idea to take a final scroll through the sale section. You can still save an extra 20% off on items designated 'Sale Must-Have'.   I've also been on the hunt for a classic linen button-down shirt and am excited to get this LF Markey that was just $98. (I might go for the grey too if I'm impressed enough with the white.)

Fivestory is wrapping up its final clearance. Using the code FINALSALE saves you an extra 20% off. The store's semi-annual 'Off-Site' sale, which is taking place onsite--at the boutique-- will begin Tuesday and run through Friday. Discounts will tilt towards 85% off.

Below is a compilation of a few of my favorite items that I've purchased, carted or agonized over. I will be sure to update this post as I scroll uncover more impulse purchases.

Global Fashions Valentino Sample Sale

It's been a while since we've been in the trenches of a great sample sale. (We desperately needed recovery time from Hermes.) Next week, Global Fashions is poised to start a new wave of buzz with a Valentino Sample sale.

The sale begins on Tuesday morning and runs for three days. Inside you will find a large amount of Valentino clothing for men and women reduced 80% off. Shoes, bags, and accessories are discounted by 70%.

Some of the sale highlights include nude patent leather Rockdstud heels for $300 from $995 and patent Rockdstuds with a tiny wedge are $225 from $845. We also spotted small Glam Lock bags in a variety of colors for $270 from $895. Men's grey tonal studded sneakers are $225 from $745 and studded leather bracelets with turquoise stones and silver studs are $255 from $845. You can see lots of pictures in the jump.

Travel: August Vacation Packing List

There is nothing we don't love about Summer. Even 100-degree weather can't get us down. Our favorite part of Summer, obviously, is August vacations. Before checking out, it's always nice to pick up some fun pieces of fashion regardless of where you plan to unwind.

Something new is always fun regardless of if basking in the infinity pool of Hotel du Cap, dancing on tables at Scorpios, in Mykonos, or just slipping into flip-flops for lunch at Duryea's. Right now there are some great sales on beachwear, which usually runs on a markdown schedule a little bit different than the rest of fashion.

Over this way, we found a this Onia two-piece bathing suit that's $66 per piece from $95, the perfect Zimmerman beach mini-dress is $170 from $425 and this Etro ruffled dress is perfect for table dancing or yachting and is $240 from nearly $1200. We found these Chloe sandals for $220 from $845.

Not everything you pack needs to be Haute. Asos is perfect for shopping for casual and inexpensive beach pieces. Here is a Chevron print romper (a la Missoni) for just $45, a belted beach shirt is $38, and we love this animal print ensemble that's even great for after the beach or for a walk into town.

Don't forget about accessories and jewelry. Bauble Bar is our favorite secret for inexpensive look-great jewelry. We are in love with these customizable bracelet stacks that are $35 and these rainbow huggie earrings are $38. Don't forget about Roxanne Assouline, this bracelet stack is about $140 from $375.

While everyone is making a spectacle-wearing oversized floppy straw hats, go with something more tailored and demure. Here is a Eugenia Kim hat that's just about perfect. Don't forget to keep an eye out for Bottega Veneta's newest sandals. They are a safe bet for now and later.

An August vacation is a great excuse to take advantage of sale season. It's also fun to have a few new pieces for an upcoming trip plus you can "apply" them to your fall and winter Caribbean vacations.

Italist's Biggest Sale Event (Extra Discounts)

Most everyone who shops online (and even those who don't) are familiar with Farfetch's international multi-boutique platform. Italist is its lesser-known non-frills competitor. The real win when shopping on both sites is to find items that are priced less internationally.  When clearance season begins is when you really see significant savings.

Starting Wednesday, Italist will begin its biggest sale ever (or so we are told). You can use this link to start shopping now.

We love stalking the handbags for extra arbitrage deals. This Gucci candy bag is on sale for $642 compared to US retail of $1200. I was in shock finding this Celine C bag online at all and it's discounted to $1600 from a US retail of $3300 and this Prada canvas tote is just $490 from US retail of $990. (I'm still sad from missing a black on one Gilt that was $500.)

Italist is always my favorite site for stalking Christian Louboutins. Here are slingbacks on sale for $385 from a US retail of $800, rainbow glitter flats are $400 from $1200 at Neiman Marcus and nude patent pumps are $460 from a US retail of $700. Other standouts are Chloe scalloped flats that are $300 from a US retail of $500 and Golden Goose sneakers for $340.

We have an eye on this Balmain blazer that's currently reduced to $774 from a US retail of $2300 and this Balmain tank that's currently $160 from a US retail of $395. This Dolce & Gabbana poplin floral print dress from this season is $600.

Prices may not seem so discounted when you are looking at the site stright on. We suggest you do a search on Net-A-Porter or Neiman Marcus to get an accurate retail price.

Century 21 Clearance Sale 90% Off

Century 21 department stores started a promotion where clearance merchandise is discounted an extra 40% off. The total savings on many items top out at over 90% off. The promotion is available online and in stores.

Over this way we found Celine high boots that come to $218 from $1400, a Leonard maxi dress is just $131 from $3315, Attico shoes are $210 from $800, and a Givenchy floral print silk scarf is $60 from $400. This morning we spotted Versace scarves but they seem to have all sold out already.

Don't miss the kid's selection. There is a Young Versace boy's down jacket that is priced at $130 from $925, this floral print girl's Versace dress is $62 from $800 and Naturino sandals are, like, $15 from $72.

These sales are always much better at the store but you have to be careful of damages. There is also the time suck that happens at Century. It's almost like a casino-- time and money has a knack of vanishing. Sometimes the quick fix of online shopping, even with limitations, is all you need.

Inside Manolo's Final Summer Markdown

If you are debating if you should pop over to Manolo Blahnik's mid-town boutique to scope out their final sale-- don't debate, just go! This sale is the best sale ever hosted at the Manolo store.

All shoes are priced at either $195 or $295. That includes an array of Hangisi shoes. With prices like these and an amazing selection to match, it's no surprise that 54th Street was the place to be today.

You can click here to see pictures from inside the sale or shop from the assortment we curated above. As a matter of fact, RueLaLa is hosting an amazing Manolo sale with discounts ranging from 40% to 60% off and there are lots of Hangisi, Fabiona, and Lurum styles.

The historical sale is tied to an announcement, in April, that Manolo's U.S. partner George Malkemus would not be renewing his licensing agreement with the parent company after a 37-year relationship. The corporate shift is the root of the abundance of Blahnik sale merchandise. You can read more insights over here.

Lines at the sale grew quickly as word got out about the amazing prices and assortment. At the end of the day, there were so many shoppers waiting to get into the sale that they were given "come back" cards with numbers for priority entry on Tuesday.

Afternoon shoppers reported that almost all sizes of Hangisi flats were sold out and the heel assortment wasn't much better. Those who wear a 40 and 41 will have the most luck. We've received conflicting reports about restocking. We will update this post as soon as more information is confirmed.

During busy markdown periods, phones are not usually answered at the boutique and sale merchandise is not shopped. This sale is only at the NYC Manolo boutique and discounts are not available online,

A few pointers for Manolo's final markdown: Shoppers shouldn't hoard display shoes, you should be loyal to one salesperson (they work on commission) and try to be in and out quickly because there is a one-out-one-in policy when the store is crowded. There are usually only about 15 to 20 shoppers permitted in the store at one time.

This final markdown sale is scheduled to run for about three weeks or until all the inventory is sold. At that time, Manolo employees take a vacation and the boutique reopens with the Fall season's merchandise.

Manolo Blahnik Final Markdown

We have made it through two markdowns at the Manolo Blahnik boutique the final price cut is finally here. Starting Monday, Manolo will begin their final markdown of the season.

This will be the last seasonal markdown hosted by the current US ownership. We strongly suggest you take advantage of this markdown because we can't promise there will be another sale of this magnitude for some time.

The sale styles are from the brand's exclusive boutique collection and include a variety of Hangisi styles. We expect that the Hangisi shoes will be discounted 60% off which will bring the final price to between $400 and $500, depending on the style. Other styles shoes usually range from $195 for a red dot up to $350 for a green dot. Most shoes and low boots-- even highly ornate styles-- are priced at $250.

The store might be crowded a little on Monday but there usually aren't long lines to get in. The length of the sale is undetermined but will definitely run through Friday and possibly even the following week. Styles and sizes tend to run low quickly. If you're looking for a great deal we suggest you switch out of your heels and take a run over to the boutique asap.

For a full rundown of past final markdowns, you can check out past stories here and here. Feel free to share news of all your finds in the comment section below.

Weekend Shopping: Impulses & Obsessions

This weeks biggest “like” turned into an obsession when I realized that Bottega Veneta's Pouch bag was practically sold out everywhere. Some stores are actually taking orders for November delivery. We did a post about it on Wednesday. This morning, I got a few DMs on Instagram and started retracing all my steps. I realized that Bottega restocked a bunch of colors, including the brown and olive:  here is the link. (I think the olive is my favorite.)

This afternoon, we received an email from Moda Operandi with this private sale link that will afford you an extra 20% off with the code PLUS20. I ended up bouncing for these Rosie Assouline earrings for $67 from $280 and am trying these Grlfnd Denim jeans that come to $80 from $250. Keep your fingers crossed, they are final sale.

Somehow this Tiffany Elsa Peretti metal heart cuff ($227) popped into my feed. I have a cue of non-necessary items but this jumped near the top of my list. Then a colleague posted that she was looking for Amina Muaddi satin slingbacks and I found them for $100 less on Farfetch.

I can go on and on but below is a compilation of a few of my favorite sale things. I will be sure to update this post as I scroll uncover more impulse purchases.

The Webster Extra 20% Off Final Markdown

When hot bags go on sale at big department stores they usually fly off the shelves. It's for this reason that it's always a good idea to pop over to smaller luxury boutiques that often have a delayed markdown schedule.

Right now, you can save an extra 20% off already discounted merchandise at The Webster. The additional discount brings the total savings to nearly 80% on some items. Use the code EXTRA20 at checkout to engage the additional savings.

The best part of this sale is that The Webster still has a great selection of bags and, we must say, the prices are truly very good.  Over this way, we found this Tisci-Burberry belt bag that we have been stalking. After the extra 20% off it comes to $600 from $1250. We really haven't seen it discounted at many places. A Givenchy quilted GV3 is $1450 from $2600, a red Chloe belt bag is $480 from $990 and this Staud pink-purple combo is about $100 from $210.

The shoe selection is about where would be at about a markdown. There's a good assortment of size options, the styles that remain are good and the discounts are attractive. Some of our favorites are these sandals from The Row that are $440 from $1100,  these Aquazzura sandals are $300 from $735 and these Off-White x Jimmy Choo pumps are $230 from $995.

And, of course, there are some great fashion finds. Here is a Tisci-Burberry trench that's about $1000 from $3450, a Lisa Marie Fernandez bikini is $100 from $400, a Balmain tee is $200 from $500,  Re/Done jeans are $110 from $390 and a Versace tee is $310 from $650.

We suggest you also browse the men's sale selection. We found some good items that can be shared with him-- like this Balenciaga belt that's $290 from $650. Sharing is caring!

The IT-It: Bottega Veneta Pouch (Pics)

Update: Bottega Veneta has pouches in all colors back in stock!

It's only August 1 but we are already feeling the rumblings of an explosive Fall trend. Bottega Veneta's Pouch is the buzziest bag since the launch of Dior's Book Tote, two years ago.

The Pouch bag is basically an oversized clutch with carefully gathered leather that culminates into a seamless closure at the top. It's also available in Bottega Veneta's signature Intrecciato weave--pronounced: In-TRAY-chato. (The large calfskin version is $2400 and the woven is $2900.)

This is Daniel Lee's first season as creative director of Bottega Veneta. Formerly, the designer worked with Phoebe Philo at CĂ©line. Lee's appointment at Bottega Veneta was one of the most celebrated fashion announcements of the year and is turning out to be a boon for trend lovers.

The first shipment of the Pouch sold out immediately and stores have logged 100s of preorders for the second delivery. If this is a bag you like, we suggest you jump on it now. Hot trends like this don't go on sale for many seasons. Usually by the time the markdown happens the trend is tired and overplayed. (You also might want to start browsing the newest style of Bottega sandals. Those seem to be stepping up too.)

The Bottega site is still stocked in many Pouch sizes and colors but the large size in white and tan is sold out. Metallic colors are available now on preorder. MatchesFashion is old out of the large pouch size but still has some smaller size variations. Bergdorf Goodman isn't shipping more large Pouches until mid-September. Neiman Marcus isn't shipping more to customers until November.

Right now, there  Orchid Mile has Bordeaux and black in stock and MyTheresa all has a few pieces left in black. Stanly Korshak, in Dallas, has the large size available in tan. (Contact: John 214-871-2600)

The bag has found it's way to the hands of mega-Instagram stars. You can click here to see a collection of our favorite Bottega Pouch Instagram moments. Some women say the bag looks like a big leather blob others love it. What do you think of the newest It Bag?
