Shop375 Bottega Veneta Sale Up to 80% Off

Our favorite discount store, Shop375 is hosting a sale where all Bottega Veneta merchandise is discounted up to 80% off. To make the deal even better you can use the code MADSPY10 to save an additional 10% off.

After the code is applied, a gorgeous variety of woven belts in assorted colors are $81 from $420. We really love this violet and this royal blue. The sale also includes a great selection of classic Bottega bags. The small Pouch 20 comes about $1000 from $1390 and the classic size is $1966 from $2700. The new style, Jodie hobo with a knot is really quite beautiful in this grey suede and is less expensive here than we've seen it.

The code is valid until April 5. Inventory is limited and won't be restocked.

Tessabit: 30% Off Designer Merchandise

Many stores are currently running friends and family sale but almost none of these promotions include designer labels. The Italian boutique, Tessabit is hosting a 30% off sale that is only open to Mad-Spy readers through this link with the code: MADISONAVENUE30MS.

Some of the sale highlights include a Saint Laurent black logo belt for $370 from $525 and a Givenchy leather shopper is $833 from $1190, Coperni swipe bag is $330 from $443 and Givenchy slippers are $380 from $550.

The best part of the Tessabit promotion is that the merchandise is coming from Italy and many of the items retail for less money when compared to our retail prices. Did we mention duty is included and there is no sales tax either? It's a triple score. The code is valid until April 12.

At Home Sales: Kitchen & Organizing

Staying home has us increasingly evaluated our immediate surroundings and less pressed about our fashion wardrobe. With Easter and Passover quickly approaching there is no doubt we will be spending even more time in the kitchen. (It's hard to believe that's even possible.)

Good thing there are some good active home sales. The Bloomingdales friends and family sale affords shoppers an additional 25% off a large assortment. The discount really becomes interesting when it's applied to items already on sale. A Zwilling J.A. Henckels 7-piece knife block comes to $225 from $650 and an All-Clad 10-piece baking set is $150 from $390.

The Container Store is also offering up to 25% off closet and pantry items. Take note, not all organizational items are necessarily space-saving.  Some of our favorite and useful items include acrylic shelf risers are $13 from $17, cereal containers are $16 from $20, and wire bins are $8 from $10.

Bloomingdales friends and family sale runs until April 12. The Container Store store promotion will continue through April 5.

Weekend Shopping: Impulses & Obsessions

It's amazing how much you can do (and how little you can do) when there is no place to go and nobody to see. This long period of "sheltering" had me looking into my closet of gowns. Each one represents a memory from an incredible evening.

With much time on my hands, I slipped on this almost-vintage Matthew Williamson empire-waist dress. In the early 2010s, he was my favorite designer. I stalked his Meatpacking District boutique and took home this find during the presale at 80% off.  I wore it five months later to an AMFAR gala, in LA, and then a few years later to Lifeball, in Vienna. My philosophy with gowns is pretty similar to my take on fashion: Buy things you love and wear them as much as you can.

This week brought us several high-quality sales with items that are loveable and wearable. Moda Operandi is offering 25% off with the code 25OFF.  Despite what the site says, not everything on the site is included. You can use this link to filter out anything that doesn't come with a discount. I really like these linen Ganni slides that come to $213 from $285,  a Jacqumous Le Chiquito bag is $422 from $585, and these "relaxed leather lounge pants" are $525 from $700.

Bloomingdales is hosting friends and family sale where the discount is 20% off. No designer merchandise is included. A Nespresso machine with a frother comes to just $150 from $475 and an All-Clad bakeware set is $160 from $400. There are lots of great kitchen items to make spending more time at home a little more exciting and to prepare for the Spring holidays. Friends and Family discounts are live through April 12.

Over at Saks, nearly all designers and nearly-designer brands are excluded from the 25% off friends and family discount. I suggest you scroll through the generous loungewear assortment. I'm into these black tie-dye sweatpants from Myrrh that come to $138 from $185 and an Isabel Marant sweatshirt is $198 from $330. The promotion runs through April 4.

Ssense is offering shoppers 20% off nearly everything on the site with the code SHOP20. These Louboutin heels come to $640 from $800 and this Saint Laurent toy size Loulou is $952 from $1190. The promotion ends Sunday. You can read all the sale details in our prior post here.

Italist has dropped prices on a multitude of items.  These Golden Goose sneakers are women's sizes and are just $250.  A Balmain white blazer is $1377 from $2300 US retail and a Balmain hoodie is $331 from $660.

Shop375 loaded a lot of discounted Gucci items this week and you can use the code MADSPY10 to save an additional 10% off everything on the site.  A classic double-G Gucci belt is $256 from $350 and thong sandals are $315 from $500. Don't miss the Bottega Veneta items that are newly loaded.. Assorted color woven bracelets are $80 from $420.

Long Island famed Steven Dann is offering discounts of 30% off nearly everything on its website, including sale merchandise that's already 75% off. Use the code "influencer30" to engage the discount. These  Jimmy Choo pumps are only $150 from $850 and a Jonathan Simkhi shirt dress is $86 from $500. The sale section is definitely worth a look.

So here's another to another week at home. Make yourself a double and enjoy the scroll and be sure to let me know if there is anything I missed.

LN-CC 25% Off: Bottega Veneta, Prada and YSL

LN-CC, which is based in Florence, Italy, has started a sale where major designer merchandise is discounted 25% off. The code LN-SPRING25 to engage the savings.

Everything on the site is included except merchandise accompanied by a star, which is primarily Gucci and Moncler. We suggest focusing your search on hot items from brands like Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, and Prada.

Some highlights include this butter color Bottega cassette bag that comes to $1425 from $1900,  a classic powder blue Pouch is $2025 from $2700 and chunky sandals are $950 from $1270. We spotted this Saint Laurent Mono bag that's only about $760 from $1050, a monogram clutch is $375 from $500, and classic Nu Pieds slides are $450 from $700.

The Prada selection is especially good. This log plaque headband $195 from $260,  Prada loafers are $727 from $970, and our favorite sneaker of the season is $517 from $690. Check out this fish net bag that's very trendy for this season and it's $720 from $990.

The selection for men is just as good. Browsing the site is really like taking a walk through a wonderfully curated European boutique. Don't forget to say thank you (or damn you) once you're as hooked as we are.

Net-A-Porter UK Provides Shopper-tunities

Please note: We just received the following message from Net-A-Porter.

"Due to the current global situation, NET-A-PORTER is temporarily unable to fulfill orders shipping within/to the United States. During this interim period, customers in the US are not able to browse or shop the site. The option to ship to the US while shopping NET-A-PORTER international sites has also been removed.

As a result, NET-A-PORTER has to pause all US activity effective immediately. The most recent solution to shift activity to the UK is currently not an option."

Earlier this week we were sent a press alert about Net-A-Porter closing it's New Jersey warehouse. We were told that all shoppers will be automatically directed to the UK version of the site and purchases will be shipped for free from the UK.

We often suggest shopping from the European version of NAP when there is a benefit of currency or a better promotion. The news alert had us looking a little deeper, this week, and we came upon some very interesting values.

We found these Bottega Venta leather mules that were sold out on the US site. Once exchanged to dollars, they come to $600 from the US retail of $790.  The small Bottega pouch exchanges to $1200 from $1390.

If you're looking for something more discounted we are happy to report that the Euro sale section is still very much alive. These Nicholas Kirkwood strappy slingbacks will cost just $172,  metallic Saint Laurent kiki pumps $260 from nearly $800 and Chloe leather slides are $280 from $630.

The sandal section and summer options happen to be excellent. The prices of some items are low enough that there won't be too much pandemic shopping guilt. Let's hope we get to wear it all soon in health and joy.

Sephora: Self-Care in a Time of Isolation

Sponsored by Sephora and ShopStyle

Now, more than ever, I feel the need to extract myself from the household tumult and spend a few minutes on my own. The bathroom has become my personal oasis and a steady delivery from Sephora is a modern indulgence.

I have started to accumulate an arsenal of beauty and self-care items that I enjoy applying and experimenting with when I find a few minutes of alone time. The experience begins with lighting a candle and dimming the lights. In the evening, I like to take a warm shower and afterward blowdry my hair with my new Dyson hairdryer ($399) or manipulate curls with the Dyson Airwrap( $549). The process is surprisingly cathartic.

While in captivity, um, self-isolation, I've discovered Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions Eyeshadow palette ($29). I love the color assortment, which translates into natural undone beauty but also offers a bit of sparkle.

Anyone who knows me well is primed in my penchant for buying lipsticks. Lipsticks are one of my favorite small indulgencies. I am always attracted to unique packaging, such as Pat McGrath'sMatte Trance lipstick ($38). My favorite color is Realness, which is a matte nude that has the perfect amount of blush to brighten your face without being blindingly bright or offensive. I use it on a daily basis as a "morning lipstick." Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk ($34) delivers a similar result.

I recently placed a new Sephora order and am looking forward to trying Armani's Luminous Silk Concealer ($38) because the Armani foundation ($68) is my all-time favorite. I also ordered Peace Out peel pads ($24), which is a brightening peel containing AHA, BHA that dissolves dead skin cells.

Above are some of my new favorites and old classics beauty products. I would love to hear how you're finding time for self-care and what products you're using to indulge yourself.

Use code FREESHIP now for a limited time to get free shipping in the US and CA with no minimum purchase required. Make sure to sign up for Sephora’s Beauty Insider program to score points with every purchase.

Weekend Shopping: Impulses & Obsessions

I'm frequently asked about my favorite fashion find. Even with all my shopping, the story hasn't changed in 20-years. My favorite find will always be my Christian Dior wedding gown because it's a love story with a fairytale-like happy ending.

I was shopping at Kleinfeld, in Brooklyn and hated almost every gown I was shown. I didn't want sparkles. I didn't want puffs of tulle and I certainly didn't want sequins. After viewing several dresses, I went on the hunt myself. I immediately spotted the most perfect and elegant Christian Dior gown. It was the only dress I tried on that day but it was $1,800, which was a lot 20 years ago.

I put the dress completely out of my mind and avoided dress shopping. A few months later, I casually walked into a small bridal salon in Belmar, NJ. There it was on the sale rack. The store was discontinuing the Christian Dior line and I bought my dream for $350. I think that it's very telling that I love this gown as much as I did the day I first saw it.

As a social isolation activity, on Friday, I decided to give the old gown a twirl. We snapped a few pictures and danced a few TikToks, which all were inadvertently deleted. It was fun to get dressed up after so many days not wearing anything more formal than a tee-shirt and jeans.

For a Saturday night activity, I'm kicking it up with a glass of wine and breaking down some of the best promotions. It was, for sure, a busy week. Most notably, Nordstrom started a promotion where nearly all merchandise is 25% off. Designer items are excluded but there is still a lot from which to choose.

If you haven't given the site a browse I suggest you do so right away as the discounts will end at 3am EST Sunday. I snagged a few Aviator Nation pieces because I rarely find them discounted. These Goodlife tees, for men, are also really nice. Here are also some really cute Comme Des Garcon pieces for men, women, and kids that are included in the sale.

Ssense is also hosting a sitewide sale. The code SHOP20 will afford you 20% off nearly everything on the site. The main exclusions are Gucci and Golden Goose. An aqua Bottega Pouch comes to about $1900 from $2700 US retail and a Saint Laurent medium Envelops bag is $1750 from $2190.

Bergdorf Goodman is offering an extra 25% off sale items and some new collections. are 15% to 25% off.  Croc-embossed Aquazzura heels are $225 from $750 and La Mer and Dr. Strum creams are 25% off-- along with lots of other beauty products. Neiman Marcus is offering 25% off too but beauty was removed from the promotion.

It's not often you stumble upon a Bonboint sale but the Webster is discounting the fancy French kid's brand 60% off. That's the same savings as the sample sale. It was worth a mention.

We'll continue to update the post as the weekend continues and sales break. Feel free to drop a question or comment below. I am also always available by email: lila@madisonavenuespy.com. Be strong, be safe, stay home! Xx

Ssense Entire Site 20% Off

Drastic times call for drastic measures and Ssense is the latest retailer to offer widespread discounts. Starting today, you can save 20% off nearly everything on the site with the code SHOP20.

The only exclusions brand are Golden Goose, Gucci, Loewe, Moncler, and Stone Island. Beyond that, you're free to go wild. We suggest focusing on items that aren't often found on sale or pieces that are priced less than you would find in the US.

You can hit both savings opportunities with this Bottega Veneta aqua Pouch that comes to $1920 from $2700 US retail. (This is actually one of our favorite color options. It's available in black too but you miss the point without a bright color. )

The code can also be applied to a variety of Christian Louboutin shoes. If we were going to go for anything Louboutin it would be something classic like these Pigalle pumps that come to $550 from $695. Here are So Kate heels that are about the same price.

Some other purchase worthy options are from new collections that won't be on sale for some time like this Balenciaga Hello Kitty bag that's about $880 from $1100. A Saint Laurent mini Lou Lou camera bag is about $800 from $1000 and the mini Cassandra bag is $1720 from $2150.  This Fendi logomania sweater can be cool to, well, flex on your Instagram.

Ssense is following in a recent tend to offer savings on a vast assortment of merchandise. Most retailers, this week, have discounted their sites from 15% to 25% off. It is only a matter of time until the incentive hits 40% off.

We suggest you buy now, what will sell out later. Otherwise, it's a reasonably safe bet to wait for later.

Neiman Marcus 25% Off

Earlier this week, Neiman Marcus started a promotion where an assortment of merchandise was discounted 20%. We looked through the selection and we weren't especially impressed.  That was until the discount got even better.

We just got word that Neiman Marcus added a large assortment to the discounted options and took the discount up to 25% off. Perhaps it's a response to the Nordstorm sale that started today...

As with the Nordstrom sale, all of the major designers are excluded. One of the first differences we noticed is that Dior beauty is included in Neiman's sale. We are seriously feeling tempted by the PE Nation selection. Check out these color-blocked leggings for $104 from $140 and this cropped tee is $39 from $79. They are sure to enhance your virtual workout.

You can do remote drinks with friends and show up on the screen wearing this look. Solace London sweater dress with an oversized belt for $400 from $525 or this Alex Perry iridescent sequenced dress is $2080 from $2600.

Spice up your sweats with these joggers with sequins from Retrofete for $360 from $480 or elevate your hoodie look with this ALC puffed sleeve sweatshirt that's $145 from $200. We are in love with the Fiorucci selection. This hoodie is $150 from $200 and this classic sweatshirt is $130 from $170.

Most beauty brands are included in the sale. You can stock up on your Dior, Tom Ford, and Diptyque.    I couldn't imagine a time where some self-love and pampering is more deserved.

Nordstrom 25% Off Sitewide

We are living through unprecedented times. The world has never been so prominently connected. I couldn't imagine hypothesizing what anything will feel like three days from now. It would be foolhardy to try to predict the future of retail.

What I do know is that Nordstrom is the first retailer to react to the current global state. Technically, beginnings at 9am on Wednesday, the retailer will be hosting a site-wide event where all merchandise will be 25% off. You can start shopping right now by looking for the items marked "Extra Savings." The discount is revealed once you cart your item. The big designers are all excluded but this is nonetheless a big sign of what's to come.

Nordstrom is just the first to make bold promotional statement.  We expect that there will be many more to come. During the great financial crisis, in 2008, Saks was the first retailer to slash prices dramatically in order to move inventory in a quickly receding economy. You can click here and read the post from 2008. (The comments section is where you will find the most interesting information.)

This pandemic is a much different situation than the Great Recession as almost all major retailers have closed. By the time this vail of safety is lifted, it's very likely the Spring fashion season will be over.

The one thing we know for sure is that life will return to normal in the near-ish future. Our kids' feet still grow and many will need new sneakers. Wearing sweatpants and pajamas all day will become boring and a delivery of fresh fashion might be exactly what you need to add a little happiness to your day.

Jumping right in, I plan to order new sneakers. This season, retro Reeboks are the most popular style. This pair is $52 from $70. I am also eyeing some Nili Lotan pieces that work well for at home and on city streets. These classic cargo pants come to $243 from $325. Aviator Nation is included in the promotion. This hoodie is $126 from $170. An Off-White utility belt is $146 from $195.

The sale also extends to beauty. It wouldn't be bad to jump on a Diptyque, Dyson or La Mer purchase. These brands are usually excluded in promotions.

I don't know what will happen in the future but I know the power of retail and how much fashion makes us happy. Even a small purchase can brighten someone's day and it will forever remind you of this moment. I still have many of my "2008 moments" tucked away in my closet.

Farfetch Flash Sale: Extra 10% Off Clearance

I'm always game for an evening surprise. Farfetch just launched a surprise 48-hour sale where all clearance items are reduced an extra 10% off. You can use the code 48FLASH at checkout.

I spotted this new style Fendi belt bag that comes to $1530 from $3300, a Tom Ford shoulder bag is $1350 from $2990 and this Givenchy charm bag is about $1300 from $3642. Among the shoes, I found these Manolo Lurums for $900 from $1300 and my favorite Hangisi style shoe is  $600 from $1100. The sale also includes a lot of Bottega Veneta sneakers. This style is $520 from $950.

The sale also consists of a huge clothing assortment. My lifestyle doesn't usually consist of a lot of time at home and I've been considering adding some more "home functional" clothing to my wardrobe. Here is a cropped Off White sweatshirt that is already 50% off and can also translate back into the real world again. The same goes for this orange Ambush sweatshirt.

Some less expensive options include this Varley faux fur zip up that's $85 from $187. Optical mesh leggings from Chopova are $104 from $20 and MSGM leopard track pants are about $160 from $460. A better alternative is taking a more positive approach and shopping for Summer beachwear, which you can find discounted from 60% to 70% off.

I won't be responsible for the repercussions of long term sweatpants use. It can be hazardous to your bikini body. The sale ends Wednesday at 5pm EST.

An Editor's Note & Ssense Savings

I've been writing about shopping and sales for over a decade and I've never had such a difficult time creating meaningful content. The health and lives of our loved ones have been threatened by a means we have never known before.  It sincerely seems frivolous and senseless to write about shopping and sales as the global economy has lost nearly one-third of its value.

Be that as it may, it's comforting to maintain as much of our normal routines as possible even as the world seems to have spun off its axis. Sometimes it's reassuring to see and speak about the things that make us happy. For this reason, I think it's reasonable to continue our content as usual.

Please know that my heart goes out to those throughout the world. As we are a global economy, I will continue to highlight fantastic retailers far away and close to home. Please feel free to reach out at any time with thoughts, observations, and insights.

Yours Truly,
Lila Delilah

The Canadian online retailer, Ssense has added lots of new season merchandise to its site. The highlights are that there are lots of items priced lower than they are in the United States and there is also no sales tax.

For example, this classic double-G belt is $325 from $450 US retail and a mini Gucci Marmont bag is $1295 from $1890 US. Here is a Bottega Venta pouch that's $2350 from $2700 US retail and the hard-to-get Jacqumus Chiquito is $465 from $630. Other brands with attractive pricing include Commes des Garcon, Loewe and Chloe.

Ssense usually breaks it's spring sale earlier than most retailers. Be on the lookout in mid-May for serious discounts.

MatchesFashion: Extra 20% Off Sale

Online luxury retailers are feeling the pressure to close out anything left from prior seasons and MatchesFashion is the most recent site to add a little promotion to their sale selection. Starting today, you can save an additional 20% off past season merchandise, which has already been reduced up to 70% off. Use code EXTRA20 at checkout to engage the additional savings.

We found Miu Miu pink satin pumps with crystals are $270 from $850 and Prada lightning bolt platforms are $350 from $1100. Kirkwood sandals with a pearl heel are a no brainer for Summer and come to $320 from $745. These Midnight 00 heels come to $380 from $1200. This brand just started selling at Saks and styles just like this are currently full price.

Moving on to bags, a Givenchy snakeskin bag that comes to $1600 from over $2900 and a velvet Eden style is $1600 from $3300. There are also lots of straw beach bags but we will save that fun scrolling for you.

If you've started shopping for Summer or vacation, you should first take a look at the beachwear assortment. There are plentiful amounts of beach dresses, swimsuits and coverups to keep you Fountainblu ready. Among the more designer items, we found this Dolce & Gabbana lily print skirt for $320 from $1120, a Balenciaga logo sweater is $400 from $1250 and this Khaite puff-sleeve blouse is $270 from $665.

The most reduced items are from prior seasons but classics stand the test of time. There is really a good selection from which to shop. Just be mindful that the extra discount deems some items final sale. This promotion will run through Monday, March 16.

Neiman Marcus Extra 25% Off Clearance

Over the weekend, Neiman Marcus hosted a flash sale on designer merchandise that put women's Moncler jackets at about 60% off. Then today, a new 20% off sale promotion began and all those great deals are back at full price. There is a bright side, however, men's Moncler jackets are now super reduced.

Here is a great classic men's puffer that is $856 from $1530 and here is a grey style with fur that's $1300 from $2325. You can see all the men's Moncler options right here.  When it comes to men and winter jackets, we seriously suggest ordering a few and letting him pick the one he likes best. The alternative is hearing that he needs a warm in October and nothing is on sale.

Now that the guys are out of the way we can go back to looking for shopping for what we know best. There aren't many shoe options worth mentioning and if there is a good style it's likely to only have one size option. We suggest taking a quick browse according to your own shoe size.

A sort through the clothing uncovered this Balenciaga blouse that feels iconic and might be worth the splurge at $1160 from $3700. Suede leggings from The Row are $620 from $1900, which is less than sample sale pricing. This Alexander McQueen blazer is still pricey at $1440 from $4600  but it's also extremely flattering and a good piece if you have a hard time finding the right fit. For Summer, this Tibi dress is basically a no-brainer at $270 from $700.

We can't say this is the most exciting selection but it is the most reduced pricing you will see on these items. It's worth the scroll if you're trying to keep your attention from the news. This promotion will run through Saturday.

Shopping: Impulses & Obsessions

This week has brought a whole new meaning to March Madness. We aren't even talking about basketball. Online shopping has been an amazing distraction to the never-ending stream of news alerts. Good thing that there is never a lack of fashion temptation.

Tessabit, our favorite retailer in Northern Italy, is offering 25% off new season merchandise. You can use the code MADISONAVENUE25XT to engage the discount.  You must use this link to see the assortment that is included in the promotion.

Tessabit also carries brands that you don't often find on sale this early in the season. We spotted this Saint Laurant beach bag that comes to $843 from $1125 and this YSL chain bag is about $750 from $1050. Prada sneakers hot off the runway are $466 from $622 and a denim Fendi bucket bag is $1485 from $1980. This promo will continue through Monday.

Neiman Marcus launched a weekend flash sale with some very good finds. There are several styles of Moncler puffers that are reduced by 50% to 60% off. This reversible floral pattern style is $770 from $2170 and the newer hype style with patches is $750 from $1530. With 60-degree weather, it's a smart move to buy one now and hold it for next year.

Closer to home, we suggest you take a scroll through Net-A-Porter where there seems to be a new round of markdowns. Check out this pretty pink lace top from Anna Mason that's $250 from $625. and this Zimmerman floral print dress is $340 from $850. An AWAKE Mode maxi pleated skirt is just $186 from $620. It will be perfect for Summer when matched with a tank and sandals. We suggest shopping for items that you can use on for Spring, Summer or save for next Winter.

This week, we also unearthed a new round of discounts from MatchesFashion and got a sneak peek into The Outnet's end of year clearance sale where discounts top 90% off. You should also check out 24S, which is also offering 25% off new season merchandise but there are some brand exclusions. The most exciting news of the week was the launch of Hermes beauty where we scored a little lip luxury.

Happy Weekend and Merry Scrolling!

MatchesFashion Extra Discounts (Really Good)

This week has seemed the longest of the year. We couldn't be happier that the weekend is near. A little online retail therapy might be exactly what we need to get us to the end.

We suggest you start your hunt on MatchesFashion, which just took another cut to its Winter collection. I am in love with this pastel gradient ski jacket from Perfect Moment that's reduced to only $192 from $480, a Bottega Veneta oversized tote from this season is reduced 60% and this Loewe small straw bag just got reduced to $270.

Among the shoes, these Balenciaga square-toe boots that are still current are $636 from $1600. They are a steal at 60% off because they will be carried over to next season.  The same goes for these classic Valentino Rockstud sandals that are 50% off. Prada sandals are $250 from $620, and these Marine Serre print botties are $340 from $1135. I've started to see this print around and it's quite eye-catching.

I was told that this sale will only run through Monday. Not sure MatchesFashion has ever taken anything "off sale" but that's the official information.

Hermes Beauty: 24 Shades of Orange

Your Kelly bag now has some good company. Hermes launched its first collection of beauty products today, which is comprised of 24 shades of matte and satin finish lipsticks.

The lipstick line features colors pulled from the storied company's catalog of nearly 76,000 silk and leather shades and are packaged in refillable tubes that are constructed of the same hardware used in handbag frames.

Ten lipsticks are matte finish and 14 have a stain finish. The lipsticks are $68 each and limited edition colors are $72. Refills will be available in the Summer and cost $42. The collection also offers a lip brush, universal lip pencil, a lip balm, and a poppy-orange "lip shine" that imparts a touch of shimmer and sheer color.  Click over to our latest Instagram post to enter two win a tube for you and your friend. Some colors are already selling out but we have the hookup right here

The lip collection is set to be the first in an ongoing series of beauty launches for Hermes. New launches are expected at around six months intervals and will ultimately include foundation, color cosmetics and a skincare line.

24S: Save 25% on New Season

This week, the Parisian-based, 24S is offering discounts that can save you up to 25% off on full-price merchandise. There are a few exclusions like Dior, Fendi, Bottega, Gucci, Celine and a few more. Most everything else is fair game.

The breakdown is as follows:

Save 15% when you spend $250+ with the code MOONDAY15
Save 20% when you spend $500+ with the code MOONDAY20
Save 25% when you spend $1000+ with the code MOONDAY25

The best part of shopping from 24S is that duties are included and there is no sales tax. In some instances, you're even able to save even more from the currency conversion.

Some worthy considerations include this Givenchy Eden shoulder bag comes to $1500 from about $2000 and I really love the quilted teal GV3 that comes to $1942 from $3000 on the Givenchy website.  This Prada white canvas bag is great for the beach and is $662 from $1150 in the US.

You can also apply the code to this oversized Valentino belt, which is eye-catching and pairs beautifully with a Dolce & Gabbana print top. I'm in love with the idea of a Versace silk blouse for Spring.

Before you check out, I suggest you do one final scroll of the sale section. There are discounts of up to 70% off. These Balenciaga boots were just shown on the runway and aren't going anywhere fast but are 60% off. An Acne coat is $575 from $1150, and a Max Mara belted camel coat is $1145 from $2290, and a Balmain velvet blazer is $758 from $2300 US.

This sale will extend through March 7. 24S is one of our favorite online stores. Delivery is super fast and the packaging is a delight.

The Outnet's Extra Discounts 90% Off

The Outnet is heavily discounting old merchandise in an online clearance sale. The markdowns extend to 90% off. The sale will run for about two weeks with increasing promotions. Right now, most items are running at full stock, which means you have your option os sizes and selection.

I did some early morning browsing and found a few items you might not want to let slip away. Here is a Preen floral print dress for $140 from $1400, an IRO white leather moto jacket is also $140, and here is a Rosie Assouline trench-type jacket for a mere $204 from $1700.

The shoe section isn't quite as good but there are some opportunities. Here are Rick Owen thigh-high platform boots that would otherwise be price restrictive but are now $430 from $2800. The lower style is only 65% off and comes out to $680. Saint Laurent booties are $558 from $1400 and these Roger Vivier heels are 85% off and come to $370 from over $2000. Sizes are spotty and styles are selling out we suggest you dive in by sorting by your size.

In the handbag section, you will find lots of Valentino styles reduced 60% off. This studded style is about $1000 from $2600. You can also check out the McQueen and Miu Miu styles.

The Outnet clearance sale just kicked off this morning but there will be more merchandise added on March 9.  The final push will begin on March 11, when there will be further reductions.

March Sample Sales 🐆🌬🐑

The sample sale situation has been a little drab since the holiday season but that will change soon. March usually goes in like a lamb and out with several roaring sales. We are most excited about the possible finds at Oscar de la Renta and that "multi-brand" sample sale that we scooped.

You will notice that we don't usually list cosmetic and beauty products as part of our recommendations. Lines are often unnecessarily long and the sales are filled with resellers. There are enough inexpensive drugstore brands that you don't need to stock up on 15 colors of eyeshadow just because it's a sample sale.

We will be sure to keep you updated in this space. Feel free to ask questions and leave intelligence in the comment section below.

Roxanne Assoulin Sample Sale CANCELLED
Who doesn't love Roxanne Assouline? The answer is easy. Everyone loves Roxanne Assouline's stackable fun jewelry and we found out exactly how much last season. The lines to get into this sale were hours long. We suggest avoiding the long wait and shopping Moda Operandi's end of season sale if you're looking for deals on fun and fashionable jewelry.
Thursday, March 5
8am to 8pm

Oscar de la Renta
Last season's ODLR sale included a great assortment of almost all designer's categories including dresses, gowns, coats, day-wear, skirts, furs, jewelry, belts, bags, shoes, kids clothing, and bridal gowns. Most items were priced between 70% and 90% off retail. Belts and jewelry were 80% off and some shoes were priced as little as $20. The best finds are always those that are current season. Click over to the post from the Fall sale for more details.

Multi-Brand Streetwear (KITH)
Throw the brands Off-White, Palm Angels, Heron Preston,  Nike, and Alexander Wang into a sample sale and Kith is the only logical origin. We haven't received confirmation that this is officially a Kith sample sale but our inside sources won't deny it either. Last season's similar sale flew under the radar. The discounts were 60% off but there wasn't a lot of merchandise from the headlining brands. We have a feeling that there will be more this time around and the crowds will be bigger too. How cool would it be to find something from the Versace or Tommy collab. A girl can always wish. Proceed with caution.

VIP Preview: Save Up to 25% on Shopbop

For a long time, department stores have been luring shoppers with gift card shopping incentives. We'd prefer a straight discount over a gift card any day. It's always more attractive to save money now than be offered the promise of a gift card in the future-- especially when it's likely to expire.

Good thinking: Shopbop is offering a shopping discount incentive that increases with the more you spend. The best part is that we just got early access. You can start shopping now and use the code SPRING to save on items marked 'Key Style'.

15% off orders of $200+
 20% off orders of $500+
 25% off orders of $800+

We aren't always the hugest fans of Shopbop but the options are excellent this season. We found lots of singular items that could be the foundation of a very stylish outfit. Check out these Trave pants that incorporate one of our favorite trends-- the ankle tie. There is also an olive option.

We have similar feelings about this Alexander Wang deconstructed trench-style skirt. The temperatures are barely above freezing and this Preen skirt is nearly sold out and this denim top from Isabelle Morant is absolutely perfect for the transition season.

The sale opens to the public on Monday and the promotion runs through Sunday, March 8. The next big Shopbop deal doesn't usually take place until early April.
