24S: Extra 20% Off Sale

This week, the Parisian-based, 24S is offering discounts that can save 20% off on sale merchandise. You can use the code EXTRA20 to engage the discount that brings the savings to 75% on some items.

Check ou these Francesco Russo boots that are only $310 from $1300. We've been stalking this Roland Mouret top for months and now it's $300 from $1275. This Dolce & Gabbana dress is a major consideration at $800 from $2000 and this Balmain denim blazer is $615 from $1800.

24S is LVMH owned and therefore offers brands, like Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Celine, which you can't find on many other websites. The best value of shopping on 24S is that all duties are included in the sale price, shipping is free, and there is no sales tax. My last order from 24S arrived in 30 hours after my "complete order" click.

This LV bag with white trim is $2700 from a US retail of $3250 and this Lockme bag is $1842 from $2280. You can click here to see other bags that have pricing advantages. Remember, even if an item is full price, you'll save by not paying sales tax or duties. It's hard to compete with that.

UPDATED Alert: Saks Fifth Avenue New Markdowns

UPDATE: Saks just reduced merchandise to 75% to 80% off. Items are moving very fast. You can use this link to jump right into the designer edit.

Every retailer manifests its own sales personality. Some stores like to slowly reduce the prices of sale merchandise while others like to make big striking markdowns. Saks Fifth Avenue performs in bold gestures. Right now, you can scroll the sale section and a plethora of designer items reduced to 50% to 60% off.

Many of the new discounts are items that we've been stalking for the past week. This bi-color Fendi belt that's $300 from $590, a Givenchy Edan bag is $675 from $1350, and Balenciaga pointed-toe BB flats are $278 from $695.

You can click here to see an edit that we've been sorting. We will continue to update the post. Stay tuned.

Intermix: Extra 50% Off Sale Items

NOTE: Click on the first Intermix link to engage this VIP access and to see the extra 50% off.

It's time to start sale-ing! Intermix started an incredible promotion where sale merchandise is an additional 50% off. The discount on many items translates to a total discount of nearly 80%.

Jumping right in, we suggest you quickly run through the Zimmerman edit, which is limited to very few sizes of each item. This silk maxi dress is $225 from $750 and this playsuit is $135 from $530. Other standouts include this Ganni eyelet top for $85 from $235 and this Balmain blazer comes to only $500 from $2700.

Here is a Nicholas nude strappy maxi dress for $175 from $575, Aquazzura silver strappy heels are $160 from $750, and a Liza Marie Fernandez bikini is $130 from $425.

There is also a great assortment of denim options.  Moussy Vintage jeans are $110 from $360, Frame denim cutoffs are $65 from $185 and Denimist high-rise white jeans are $70 from $195. We also spotted these Francesco Russo heels for $180 from $600 and Aquazzura wedges for $210 from $700.

This sale will last through Friday. These extreme sale-on-sale events have been more frequently but the extra 50% off is a real score. We suggest you start scrolling fast because the best merchandise tends to go fast.

`New Markdowns: Saks Fifth Avenue

Charting sales this season is like navigating a plane through a night sky that's heavy with fog. Unquestionably dangerous. Nearly impossible-- but we are doing it.

Saks Fifth Avenue has been thoughtfully reducing bundles of merchandise throughout the season. Most recently we noticed a new crop of luxury staples hit the site. The discounts aren't extreme but the assortment is A+.

Some items worth the watch include this bi-color Fendi belt that's $413 from $590, a Givenchy Edan bag is $945 from $1350, and Balenciaga pointed-toe BB flats are $417 from $695. The pool and beachside options are still plentiful and we love the buy-now-wear-now opportunity as we hit high-summer.

Saks markdowns usually go from 40% straight to 60% off. When the shift is made, items sell out very quickly. It's best to choose carefully now so that you're ready when the moment strikes.

Net-A-Porter Discounts hit 80% Off

Net-a-Porter has started to aggressively discount its summer merchandise. This markdown is a month later than normal but you will currently find a critical mass of merchandise is now 80%. The best deals can be found among clothing, swimwear, shoes, lingerie, and jewelry.

Inside the 80% section, we found lots of swimsuits, which are perfect to help get through this heatwave. This Johanna Oritz one-piece $118 from $400, this Marios Schwab bikini is $94 from $495 and this one-piece from Heidi Klein is $60 from $300. Here's a Dolce & Gabbana bikini top for $79 from $400.

Of course, there's lots of clothing reduced by 80% too. This daytime sexy Balmain halter top is $190 from $950 and this Pater Petrov leather wrap dress is $430 from $2130 and can be worn straight through winter if styled correctly.

The 70% off options are priced nearly as well but the options even more plentiful. This Zimmerman polka-dot jumpsuit is $180 from $600, this red Philosophy dress is perfect for a hot night out at $240 from $800 and these Guiseppe Zanotti heels are $225 from $750. Don't miss these Gucci aviator glasses for just $124 from $415 and these Saint Laurent glasses are $162 from $405.

There aren't any bags reduced 80% but in the next couple of weeks, we should see even more merchandise added to more heavily discounted sections. This NAP sale is really a great time to scroll and add quality items to your wardrobe. It's hard to ever justify fast fashion when there are so many affordable finds.

Introducing Steele Hotels: Discounted 3-Night Luxury Hotel Packages

Anticipating tomorrow is like looking through a frosted glass window. Despite the unclear vision, we all know there is a great and vast world just waiting to harvest experiences and memories.

It's only a matter of time until travel will resume and we can begin to activate our innate desire to travel and explore. For those like me, waiting is not enough. It's time to start planning. During the past few months, I have worked tirelessly with an amazing team of dreamers and believers to craft an incredible travel opportunity.

Steele Hotels is an innovative travel website that offers users a limited number of discounted three-night hotel packages at some of the most luxurious hotels worldwide. The best part is that all purchases are valid 12-months AFTER borders open and safe travel resumes. There are also very limited blackout periods, which enhances the deal even further.

Some of the great deals include my favorite hotels around the world. Take a look.
Three nights at Nizuc Resort & Spa, in Rivera Maya, in an Ocean View Deluxe room is available starting at $1188. That's under $400 a night.

Casa de Campo Resort and Villas, in the Dominican Republic, costs just $486 for three nights in a Superior Casita. That's just $162 a night. There is also the ability to add an all-inclusive option for just a little bit more money. The same goes for the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, which just opened in October 2019. The all-inclusive three-night room package starts at $855, which is equivalent to $285 a night.

Steele Hotels also includes lots of great European hotel deals too. One of my personal favorites is Portrait Firenze, in Florence, Italy.  There's also Capri Tiberio Palace in Capri, Italy, Estancia Vik Jose Ignacio, in Uruguay and the Saint Jame's Hotel & Club Mayfair, in London.

Remember, there are a very limited number of Steele Hotels packages available at each hotel. "Restocking" is unknown but new hotel deals will be added regularly.

The revenue generated from the purchase of each Steele Hotels package is immediately turned over to each hotel to help support their properties during this very difficult time. In addition, a portion of all Steele Hotels sales will be donated to various charities that support job training in the hospitality industry.

Book the trip. Buy the shoes.  💕💕

Harvey Nichols UK Markdowns

Most US stores have already started their second round of markdowns but many European stores are still discounted even more. The famed UK department store, Harvey Nicholas has a great assortment of sale merchandise that shouldn't be overlooked.

Most of the markdowns hover at about 50% to 60% off but the savings are even more once you account for currency savings. There are quite a few options from one of my favorite designed evening bags, Perrin Paris. This La Cabriollet clutch is $545 from $1100. These Valentino shoes sold out in moments after the Nordstrom second markdown but are still available in almost all sizes for $530 from $900. These Manolo Blahnik shoes with an ankle ribbon are $370 from $735.

The heavier discounts are always clothing. This floral print Dolce & Gabbana dress os $800 from $2200 US. An Off White tee is $86 from $375 US and comes in black too. The hoodie version is just $175. This VLTN Valentino sweatshirt is $300 from $700 US.

In addition to the great prices, Harvey Nichols covers duty and taxes. Shipping is free if you spend over $250, which is easier than any of us would like.

Weekend Shopping: Impulses & Obsessions

This week, big fashion news circulated about Milan's digital fashion shows. There were Gucci, Prada, and Dolce, and more.  If you didn't catch them, you're not alone. Without the experience of a physical event, most fashion fans missed the link-- or so they say.

You can click here to view them all but it's become glaringly clear that the digital environment is not an adequate substitute for the real thing. Bucking the trend, Jacquemus sculptured a wheatfield to accommodate 100 VIP socially distanced guests to view his runway show that spanned 600-meters  or nearly 2000 feet. The visuals were spectacular but the compromise of having a live show in this environment is questionable. You can click here and judge for yourself.

Now is a great time to comb through Farfetch. I spotted lots of Saint Laurent items 50% off and even more. These Casandra YSL sandals are $425 from $850, a kelly green Cassandra bag is $1275 from $2550 and Opyum pumps are $500 from $1000. Also, check out deep discounts on Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana and Balenciaga.

Most recently, Tessabit started a promotion where you can save an extra 20% off sale merchandise with the code 20EXTRAMADISON. You must use this private Tessabit link to access the sale. Markdowns already scale 70% and the extra discount brings the total savings to near 80% off on some items. Some standouts include Fendi sandals for $340 from $700 and this Balenciaga quilted bag for $480 from $995. The full post with more finds can be found here.

Nordstrom started its round of second markdowns on designer brands. These Saint Laurent heels are $330 from $825 and this Saint Laurent linen tote is $755 from $1900. Click here to read the full post.

The discounts at Italist have hit up to 70% off. Prada PVC tote that's $715 from $1100 US and  Bottega Veneta Lido heels are $940 from $1250 US. More details are in the full blog post.

That brings us to the very good deals we spotted on the UK version of Net-A-Porter, which include a Tom Ford Tote for $945 from nearly $1900 and a Rocksanda top with ruffle sleeves for $270 from $900. More finds can be found in the post.

Coming up this week, we wouldn't be surprised to see additional markdowns at Saks Fifth Avenue and Moda Operandi.

Stay tuned. Until next time... same time, same place?

Lake Como's Tessabit Extra 20% Off Sale

How much would you love to be on holiday at Lake Como? The thought is thrilling but, this season, you're unlikely to find yourself sipping an Aperol Spritz on the deck of Grand Hotel Tremezzo. The good thing, however, is that you can still shop amazing deals.

Lake Como's premier designer boutique, Tessabit started a promotion where you can save an extra 20% off sale merchandise with the code 20EXTRAMADISON. You must use this private Tessabit link to access the sale. Markdowns already scale 70% and the extra discount brings the total savings to near 80% off on some items.

The best part is that Tessabit's merchandise is coming from Italy and already at a discount when compared to our retail prices. There is also no city or state sales tax. The bag selection is very good. This Givenchy tote that's now just $800 from nearly $1700, this Valentino bag comes to $1300 from $2675, a quilted Balenciaga camera bag is $485 from $995, and this Fendi crossbody is $1340 from $2800.

The shoe selection is pretty tempestuous too. These YSL Tribute sandals are $350 from $725, Givenchy sandals are $350 from $715, and Fendi wedges are $340 from $690. A few other items you shouldn't miss: Givenchy sweatshirt ($430), Balmain blazer ($800), Fendi tee ($310), and this Balenciaga bomber jacket ($930). Oh, and yes, this Rick Owen's dress is $240 from $735.

Be sure to check out the men's selection too. It's very good. Also, be sure to keep your eyes focused on European designers. That's where you will find the best values.

Nordstrom Big Designer 2nd Markdown

Nordstrom started a big designer markdown on Thursday. Valentino,
Givenchy and Burberry are reduced to 60% off. The price adjustment occurred just a few hours ago but so much merchandise is already sold out.

Some outstanding highlights include this Saint Laurent Kate bag is $980 from $2450,  a Valentino tote for $550 from $1375,  and this Givenchy Eden at $1076 from $2700. Sizes options among the most desirable shoes are already very thin. You can't go wrong snagging these Valentino flats for $318 from $800. Saint Laurent Tribute sandals are $280 from $700 and Givenchy sneakers are$300 from $750.

Second markdowns are always our favorite. It's the axis between a great selection and high value that' always trigger the checkout-now impulse.

Italist New Markdowns (Not Announced)

Italist quietly did another round of markdowns but the news hasn't been formally announced. That means that you can shop the 70% discounts now before the word even gets out.

Some of the sale highlights include this Prada PVC tote that's $715 from $1100 US, Bottega Veneta Lido heels are $940 from $1250 US, and Saint Laurent tribute slides are $380 from $600. If you aren't opposed to buying items out of season there are some great Herno deals and Max Mara deals. Some items for the Fall 2020 season are even already reduced.

Although Italist has good sales it's always our go-to for scoring not-on-sale-anywhere merchandise for less. For instance, this Celine canvas tote is $1480 from $1850 US retail. If you were considering the purchase at full price, the $400 savings feels like a gift. Here is a classic Fendi coat with fur pockets that's $2000 less expensive than it would be in New York (or anywhere else in the US.) This Fendi Zuca print coat will afford you $800 in savings.

The sale should officially break later today. Let's hope that the headstart provides the perfect find (in the right size.)

Great Markdowns on Net-A-Porter UK

Traditionally, US sales begin several weeks before European retailers. Like everything else this season, the sale schedule is upside down. Net-A-Porter UK is a full markdown period ahead of us and can offer some really amazing savings for those who want to snag-it-now.

Over this way, we spotted a YSL Niki mini studded bag that comes to $1145 from $1850 US, and this Tom Ford tote is $852 from $1889 US. This Etro rainbow pleated top is a stunner for $282 from $1300 US. (It's still full price on the US version of the site.) This Roxsanda top with fluted sleeves is $250 from $905 US. You can click here to browse the 70% off selection.

The shoe selection is very good too. We spotted these Roger Vivier crystal buckle stunners  $909 from nearly $2000 US and Balenciaga Knife slingbacks are $375 from $800 US. Here are clunky Prada birk-style sandals for $350 from $890 US.

Shipping is free to the US if the order is over $250. Most items don't require duty. If you're averse to International shopping, the US NAP site is about seven to ten days behind it's UK sibling.

New Markdowns: MatchesFashion & Ssense

Happy Monday!

You made it through the weekend and now, here is a treat. MatchesFashion and Ssense just started additional markdowns where this season's merchandise is now reduced up to 60% off. Keep a special eye out for Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Burberry, Givenchy, Loewe, Saint Laurent, and other European designer mega-labels.

Over at MatchesFashion most of the new reductions take the savings to 50% to 60^ off. We found this Balenciaga knee-length leather skirt for $1200 from $2400, Saint Laurant caged sandals are $447 from $900 and Chloe leather slides are $250 from $415.

There is a lot of old merchandise listed in this sale too. After you filter your favorite designers, it's best to sort by "Just In" to see the most current season's sale merchandise.

On Ssense, you'll find similar designer markdowns. This Saint Laurent Kate bag is $1282 from $2300, Alexander McQueen sneakers are $400 from $530 and a Givenchy bag is $1140 from $2200. Be thorough in your shopping. Some items can differ in price according to color. It's best to know all your options before checking out.

Both sales started within the past hour but items are moving fast. We will continue to update the post with our favorite finds.

Weekend Shopping: Impulses & Obsessions

COVID cases are drastically accelerating in regions in the center of the country. Retailers are bracing themselves for regional lockdowns, which will further cripple the sector. The only saving grace seems to be the potential of another government stimulus packaging but partisan bickering may provide too little, too late.

The list of retailers filing for bankruptcy is quickly growing and that comes on the heels of JC Penny, J Crew, and Neiman Marcus. The list grew dramatically this week with the addition of Brooks Brothers, Sur La Table, Need Supply Company/ Totokaelo, and the beloved Japanese emporium, Muji.

Many of the largest US retailers canceled Summer deliveries. Despite the appearance of deep discounts, American shoppers will soon begin to notice that local department stores don't have much inventory. Many stores aren't accepting shipments until October/November.

Stores that didn't cancel orders started receiving deliveries this week and we can already see responsive shifts. Gilt launched this season's collection of Dior items at a much steeper discount than normal. Here are J'adore heels for $860 from $1050 and 30 Montaigne sandals for $700 from $900.

SSense has posted new Bottega Veneta styles for under retail prices. This heavy chain bag is $3335 from $3600 and these padded heels are $100 less than retail. This woven Pouch bag is on sale for $2100 from $3100 US. Other sale standouts include this Saint Laurent Lou Lou camera bag for $920 from $1250 and this Fendi Tresor is $890 from $1290.

The Italian boutique Coltori has new season deliveries for significant discounts compared to US prices.  This pearlized Bottega aqua pouch comes to $1700 from $2700 US retail, a classic woven clutch with a chain is $675 from about $1550 US retail, and shoes with an ankle coil strap are $916 from $1220 US retail. The site also has lots of new season Fendi, including a few items from the new Joshua Vides California Sky capsule. Here is the monogram canvas tote for $1200 from $2190 US and Zuca logo sandals are $555 from $750 US retail. See the full post for codes and additional discounts.

The biggest sale news of the week was Net-A-Porter's second markdown. Prices are now discounted  70% off. I spotted Tabatha Simmons ankle wrap shoes for $190 from $645 and Alexander Berman rainbow ankle strap shoes are $187 from $625. You can click here to read the full post.

Nordstrom is another retailer that's been serving up some fantastic deals. Some current highlights are these Prada sandals for 50% off and these Manolo sandals for 60% off. Click over to see the post with all of our great finds.

Yesterday Farfetch discounted some items further. It's difficult to call out prices on popular items as they tend to change quickly as inventories shift between retailers. Don't miss this Rick Owens coat that's $996 from $3300 or this Versace silk blouse for $525 from $1050.

Coming up this week I don't expect to see more markdowns. Instead, stay tuned for promotions with discount codes.

Stay tuned. Until next time... same time, same place?

Coltori Discounts: Europe's Inventory Overruns

The retail sector will likely feel the ramifications from COVID for several years. European boutiques, in particular, seem to be the hardest hit. Fall shipments are already arriving while Summer merchandise hangs from neglected racks. The combination of lost tourism revenue and a global recession further compounds the magnitude of European inventory overruns.

As news of Covid emerged from the Far East and Europe, many of the largest US retailers quickly canceled orders for Summer. Despite the appearance of deep discounts, American shoppers will soon begin to notice that local department stores don't have much inventory. Many stores aren't accepting shipments until October/November.

Those looking for the most attractive pricing for luxury items should set their sites on European retailers.  Coltori is has a  small collection of Italian boutiques on the West Coast and is offering 25% off sitewide with the code MOON25 or 15% off products indicated with a star with the code XTRAMOON15.

Check out the Fall 2020 Bottega Veneta. This pearlized aqua pouch comes to $1700 from $2700 US retail, a classic woven clutch with a chain is $675 from about $1550 US retail, and shoes with an ankle coil strap are $916 from $1220 US retail.

The site also has lots of new season Fendi, including a few items from the new Joshua Vides California Sky capsule. Here is the monogram canvas tote for $1200 from $2190 US and Zuca logo sandals are $555 from $750 US retail.

Other new season items worth noting include this Balmain tee that's $180 from $395 US, a Saint Laurant canvas tote for $833 from $1150, and Golden Goose sneakers are $314 from $550-ish. We haven't even tackled the sale section that's an additional 25% off. This Dolce & Gabbana floral print shirt is $345 from $670, a Balmain hoodie is $270 from $540, and a Mark Cross bag is $990 from $2200 US retail.

Take note that Coltori does not cover duties. Items priced over $800 might be subject to a tax of about 10%.

Need Supply & Totokaelo 80% Off

Retailers are getting hit hard this year and NSTO, which operates Need Supply and Totkaelo is the latest Covid-19 retail casualty. The store announced, this week, that they will be closing all of its stores.

Need Supply is based in the Richmond, Va.-and sells moderately priced high fashion brands like Ellery and Rachel Comey. Totkaelo has a store in Soho, NYC, and Seattle and specializes in higher priced avant-garde fashion from the likes of Acne, Dries, and Comme Des Garsons.

Sale shoppers can treat themselves to a variety of steep markdowns. At Need Supply, the discounts hit 80% on many items. Some standouts include this Alexa Chung ruffle blouse is $60 from $295, Ganni shoes with ankle straps are $200 from $325 and a Batsheva dress is $110 from $475.

Over at Totkaelo there is a Cecilie Bahnsen dress that's $734 from $1239, a Jacquemus long shirtdress $294 from $702, Issey Miyake jumpsuit is $270 from $670, and a Chloe Bucket bag is $995 from $1990.

It might be fun to shop sales where merchandise gets super-reduced but the loss of profit hits in more than one place. This is definitely not the last of retail COVID calamities.

Nordstrom: Deep Diving Into Designer Discounts

Nordstrom's markdowns have been on fire this season and the power to entice isn't waning. Right now, you can find various European designer merchandise discounted up to 60% off. That includes brands like Prada, Bottega, Fendi, and Saint Laurent. The best part is that there is still a great selection.

Technically the sale is considered private, which means you need to access the designer merchandise through this link. The Prada selection is the most plentiful. Here are new season Prada Fall 2020 sneakers for $510 from $850, this crossbody/hip bag is $810 from $1350, and classic hart painted heels are $375 from $750.  Even this new style Saffiano backpack/bag is 40% off already.

Outside of the private sale edits the designer options are still plentiful. Here is a Balmain dress that's $760 from $1900, Givenchy lock loafers (new season) $537 from $900, and Givenchy kid's sneakers are $255 from $460.  You can still find some sizes of YSL Tribute slides for $357 from $600.

Nordstrom also has a great selection of innovative designers. We love this Sara Lanzi sleeveless dress is $400 from $1000 and a camo ruffled dress from Ashley Williams is the perfect fashion contradiction and is $182 from $455. Don't miss this Maison Margiela padded jacket. Not for everyone but 60% off and a significant fashion item.

Granted some designer items are worth waiting for the second round of discounts but the new season merchandise is really novel. Heavy tread Prada sneakers may be difficult to get once Fall officially arrives and they are 40% off now.

Second Markdown Alert: Net A Porter

Listen, and read closely, because you're not going to want to miss this. Net-A-Porter will start its second markdown Tuesday morning. Prices will be reduced up to 70% off and many popular style bags and fashion are still in stock.

Among the bag selection, you can expect to find most styles reduced an additional percentage. Some items we've been watching include this Saint Laurent Angie bag that doubles as a clutch and is 30% off.  This Fendi Tresor seems like a no-brainer if it hits 50% off.

The discounts on shoes will range from 40% to 70% off, with most styles getting the 60% markdown treatment. Among the shoes we are watching are these Loewe wedges, leopard print Valentino Rockdtuds, and Saint Laurent slides. These Jimmy Choo booties are even more beautiful in person. There is also a huge amount of sneakers.

Expect to find an infinite array of clothing discounted 70% off. There is still this red twill Balmain blazer and you know it will be all gone once the price dips under $1000. Here is a Ulla Johnson maxi dress that can be worn to a myriad of Summer events. The same can be said for Zimmerman linen floral print dress. This Lisa Marie Fernandez PVC bikini is already reduced to $120 from $300 and a Pucci pareo is now $136 from  $340.

The new markdown went live this morning but the best merchandise will go sell out fast. We suggest you pile up that cart and edit quickly.
